So can anyone answer my questions? if I order now will i get one on release day or is it possible that more people have pre-ordered than OcUK plan to have in stock and that they just havn't changed it to 'pre-order/out of stock'? and on the delivery thing, should I pick as soon as possible or should I select the 20th? or will they not be delivered on day of release and I have to select to deliver on the 21st?

Just select the earliest delivery date it gives you.

It won't make any difference.

Your order will be held until the stock arrives and it'll ship the same day if the stock arrives early enough.

There's no point in trying to guess a date

The cards could arrive slightly early, a week late, no one knows.
 
Well I've placed my order after 5UB responded to my questions. He said there will be plenty of cards in stock and to get the card as soon as it is available just leave the delivery date as the default and it'll be shipped as soon as it can be.
 
i guess they've run out of cheap stock. there are some asus cards still on the site but they are 20 quid more now.

edit: interesting that the OcUK is an "OC" model with the same clocks as the asus and supposedly has a 3 year warranty as well.
 
Hang on, the text, and I am sure the image in the first post has now changed substantially.

I am not sure now that we are even talking about the same 'deal'... are we, as it is (apparently) no longer for a genuine Asus card? :confused:

My guess (or is that hope as I may still order one!) is that the £89.99 deal is still the same card but that Asus have asked OCUK to remove their name from the deal since it sounds as if they may have given too good a deal which they don't want others asking them to match? Also, the OCUK version is oc-ed to 790MHz ... googling for 6850 790MHz seems only to bring up the Asus part.
