Prince Andrew not served papers as they were handed to his police security.

There will be some who will claim the announcement of a future "low key" event for the upcoming coronation of Prince Charles and his wife as forthcoming Queen Consort is the result of Her Majesty having to thrust her Royal hands down the backs of a myriad sofas in order to pay this bint off. I suspect the sum involved, whilst large to the man in the street, will have been modest in the grand scale of royal household and personal expenditure. The ageing Virginia oozes cheapness and vulgarity, away from Maxwell's varnishing, and presents even more vulgarly now, after her second, err, "windfall".

i don't have the time to read all the posts. surely if there are people excusing the rape of vulnerable children and you've read those posts you can put your hand to them quickly.

Perhaps she was advised by her solicitors that this would have been the best outcome for her due to lack of any real evidence of crime. Win, win.

Andrew did everything in his power, including some very disgusting tactics including trying to get the law changed so rape victims couldn’t claim compensation, and he still lost, demanded a jury trial, when that bluff was called, he’s bottled it.

Just like the Derek Chauvin trial, we had posters in here defending the indefensible. They will never reflect and learn, insisting on making themselves look foolish over and over again trying to score racist or sexist idealogical points.

She was sex trafficked, that’s been proven in criminal court. Prince Andrew is in photos with her whilst she is being victimised and continued to pal around with Epstein post conviction. He is at the very least a rape apologist, and almost certainly a fellow rapist.

Anyway, it's all clearly just a misunderstanding with Randy Andy being a bit of a lad. Nothing says "I'm completely innocent" like accepting being stripped of your rank and titles and paying someone £12 Million to avoid having to face their accusations in court.

I guess £12m is still a small amount for him, Michael Jacksons out of court settlement with the Chandler kid was £23m and thats many years ago now
 
Can't believe they told him to go private and fight this himself then go and pay her off for him, this has done the royal family zero favours in the public's eyes now.
 
France seems a favoured place of exile for the Royals we no longer want hanging around. It's close enough for family to visit, reasonably civilised with clement weather. So I expect now that he has sold the chalet to pay his legal costs, 'un maison a Paris'.
