Man of Honour
For those who are new to the tour, a guide to the jerseys worn:
Cummings not a team player because he's not working for Cav? Do you know for sure he's going against team orders? Looks like he's doing exactly what he's meant to be doing in his team role - winning stages
I've seen Cav do a stint on the front for his team before, I've also seen Cav go back to the team car collecting loads of drinks bottles for the team. I only really see Cummings pottering along at the back of the peloton on his tod doing nowt or out front in a break on his tod. Im sure that is how his team allows/wants him to run, but it certainly isn't a team player role, it's a loners role glory or not.
Unless you're watching every stage to see what he's doing all the time I'd say it's very hard to judge, as you only have very limited stuff to go on based on the tv footage. Lots of stuff happens in races that you don't see. I saw a rider get off for a wee the other day for the first time in like four years of watching grand tours, but I don't believe that's the only time it's happened.
its a thread about pro cycling and you dont want people to post about pro cycling??
you need to read it at the end of the day then.
I expect contador dropped out to focus on the vuelta?
That and the fact he is leaving Tinkoff probably assisted his decision making.
