Yep, I thought he was out of it on that last descent when Roux crashed in front of him.
Would have been good if he got the win - particularly as i had £2 on him at 50:1 :(
 
Reports of Demare being accused of grabbing a team car which consideing he was involved in a crash at the bottom of the Cipressa highly suspicious, can't see much happening but you never know if they find some evidence.

Yet another win for Armistead, the lady is dominating! Hopefully will raise the profile of womens road cycling in this country!
 
Sour grapes about Demare.

Matthews got back on after being held up for longer than Demare and having more injuries and was then dropped on the Poggio I believe.
 
Dan Martin just absolutely smashed a few nobodies..... Froomey, Contador, Quintana, Teejay, Uran, Porte & Bardet.

That. Was. Awesome.

GvA also nearly took the form of God himself today, but that was not to be in DDV. Some suspect moto pacing from the Belgians, in Belgium, for the Belgian in the final few K's.... Hmmmm.

Saw the first part of this before highlights damn you!

Be good to see todays stage outcome, should be quite a fight, with various people at different levels of form.

DDV was great, shame had to watch on bike in the worst bitrate I've seen this side of motorsTV.

Sorry, will use spoiler thingys in future pal.

I think todays stage will be a snooze fest and a huge showdown on the final mountain. G and Froome looked out of it yesterday and they had a strong team take them to the final climb so not sure on their form right now and would guess anyway this is not the largest deal right now for Froome who will be focusing on the Tour. Richie Porte is the sort of guy who is likely to be on good enough form to get a result here or maybe someone like Bardet, although he will focus on the tour also. Hard one to call, almost too many big names in unknown form on this race.

DDV, I watched the whole thing with Dutch commentary for the legit Euro race feel. Was great.
 
Spoke to my friend who did DDV woman's race.

Buckled two wheels, broken handlebars, possible broken wrist, arm bruised from crashing and then being run over by the bunch.. Pro racing is a battle with a bike race on top!
