Who's doing the tour commentary like? I can't stand Phil and Paul. Carlton's good for some a laugh, but if it's Boulting and Millar I might have to switch...
 
Great sprint that, was watching with friends and we all just had that moment just before the line of, he's in front, he's in front! :D huge crash too, hope no lasting injuries. Wonder how long Contador will last, as he looked absolutely smashed to pieces.
 
Amazing result for Cav he deserves his time in yellow as his record on the tour is incredible and he's been so close a few times. Love him or hate him he is a legend of the sport I thought his time had gone but he clearly still has something in the tank!
 
That was cav of old watching it again on the highlights. He's got his chunk on and his 2 stage sprint back!

At the national championships he had no team, and he had to spend a lot of time in the wind for the whole day because no matter what group he was in, people saw him as the favourite so didn't want to give him too much of an advantage. In the last 10-20km, he had to shut down a lot of gaps himself and respond to a lot of attacks, when Blythe had been in the break from the start and hadn't had the pressure of chasing, or lots of deep efforts, and in the run up to the finish was able to gamble and just sit on the back the whole time recovering. That it was so close is probably testament to Cav's strength.
