Project Cars 2 is en route :D

whats the best "value" package for this, and i dont mean cheapest, i mean best extras for the price, and is it worth getting a retail copy?
I think base game is around £33 plus season pass which means you get everything they ever release for it for £25 on top. On release the dlc will £10 each...so £15 saving if you like...

Could any kind soul point me in the direction of some YouTube videos or other resources for beginners? I just bought this and it looks like I could sink some serious hours into it... If I could stop smashing into walls. :p

Im starting to have an unhealthy obsession with PC. I'm spending far too much time on it.

Today I gave multiplayer a try. And I really enjoyed it. I've had some really good races!

Just realised that the cars default to the Loose set up. Have switched to Stable and find controlling the cars a lot less tricky. Would have thought Stable would be the default.

Anyone had trouble with the game crashing? I'm on my second career race now but the game keeps crashing before the end and prompting a bug report window. Bloody irritating, as I'm starting to get the hang of the game. I was doing really well earlier only to have the game crash out for no reason :/

Really can't get into this, it's going on members market, it's probably cause I'm playing with a controller but the handling is utter tripe - cars have the strangest handling characteristics known to man kind, the Ginetta class bored me to tears, the Clio's are fun but the back end step out whenever you go near the brakes. Everything is so random.

Anyone using TrackIR yet? I've tried helmet mode and it doesn't activate. Seemingly you have to start the game in Steam VR mode to get it to work. The problem with this is my Oculus Rift starts up at the same time and physically disconnecting the Rift everytime I want to use track IR is not a great solution. Any other ideas?

got my highest placing online today, came 4th in a full room of racers :) only used a pad so far and find the handling great using it, its much much better than pc1 was with a pad, thats for sure

Stable is the controller default, loose is the wheel default...first thing I do is stiffen the car up, makes the car far more stable in corners...

I've not driven the Ginettas yet, but if the Clio is like the pCARS1 version, it often needs a dab of throttle while braking to stabilise it.

Don't get why people moan about games when they don't even play them properly..

Sim Driving games with a pad is like playing CS with a Xbox pad...
