Project Cars 2 is en route :D

Im starting to have an unhealthy obsession with PC. I'm spending far too much time on it.
Today I gave multiplayer a try. And I really enjoyed it. I've had some really good races!

Me too, I've joined up with RSR to try some online league racing, but some those guys have been playing the game testing it for a year solid. Although I had access I only really dipped in occasionally and their is so much content.

It's only the first weekend I'm already feeling guilty for saying no to the kids when they've asked me to do stuff with them this weekend, need to wind it back a bit I think.

It's been the same for my G29 too , so I will try to reset it again later today and if that dont work, I might just dump the game as I'm not that impressed by it at all to be honest , but I'll give it a chance .

Will try again, but even the karts turning was clunky as out, if they can't even get the steering correct in a car game what's the point in making a game about driving lol.

bought duluxe from bundlestars for 59.84 i think :)

so far i seem to struggle with brakes, im much worse than ai, seems like i just cant stop enough sometimes.

and in menues and stuff it loves to pause and hang for 20 seconds when you change car?

also sometimes have missing effects and replay was super stuttery on medium super sampling, but actually driving was fine. might be a driver issue

I found using the Jack Spade files, with the preset alt low comp gives me some decent feel, turned the FFB volume up to around 60-65 and it feels pretty good. Before that the steering felt as light as anything!
^ This. At first I thought the ffb was rubbish, steering was just too light then I installed jack's files and wow what an improvement, ok some cars feel better than others but overall they feel pretty good. I play this exclusively in vr and iam pleased to say the vr integration is fantastic. Running this at 1.6 SS high settings with medium aa no post processing it runs great much better that pc1.
Rallycross is great fun iam running my th8a shifter as an analogue handbrake and it's so much fun pulling handbrake turns around tight corners.
Overall I can highly recommend pc2 it's a solid racer, only the ai lets it down with the bumper car shannangins. 8/10 from me.

RSR... Who are they?

Lol you need to get your priorities in order mate lol. Turning the kids away. Shame on you!

RevolutionSimRacing, did 3 races in the new Touring Car class at Nurburgring Short, 2 dry and one wet race. I didn't do very well but I had fun and 2 close races. Race2 ended 10ft past the startline as I got collected by someone else's accident lol.

I know, I've never done that before ever, I might have put them off and done it later...

My daughter is obsessed with Friv. We play Fireboy & Watergirl, I'm usually Watergirl because that's the side of the keyboard I sit lol, that or board games...

How do use the replays? When I select trackside camera or all it just stays fixed and didn't follow the action?

I struggle with this as well I think it's a VR issue. Have you tried watching replays on your monitor instead, I restart the game in normal mode to do that. Sadly it reminds me how low res VR is, but I can't give up the immersion.

Game is a marked improvement over the first one, apart from the AI and the constant first corner pile ups. Graphics range from really amazing to erm quite poor in places, but the cars are nicely detailed.

Handling via my G29 seems ok, better then the first. Still think AC has the edge - the live track conditions however are pretty amazing. Le Mans day / night transition is pretty stunning.
