at under £400 inc the PC adapter it's hard to argue against it. It does somethings very well, but others not so well but for that price it's a good buy.
The OLED is really nice and the lenses aren't bad for fresnel's but i have a small ipd of 62 and the lenses pinch my nose after an hour it's painfulMine arrives today, but won't have a chance to play tonight. Got a feeling I won't be keeping it long term. It just depends on how those displays and lenses are.
I got mine the other day playing gt7 in VR is really good a little low res but what do you expect (i'm used to the Varjo Aero) but it's got to be one of the most uncomfortable vr headsets ever and it feels cheap too :S
Just realized I need a display port cable too! Luckily they're cheap and easy to get for next day delivery, and I'm planning on setting up the headset tomorrow anyway.
Really Sony should have had integrated BT and an included display port cable for the adaptor. It's a bit of a faff really having to get these extras, which bumps up the cost a bit.
I am kind of shocked that a guy like you, interested in computers and displays, wouldn't have a display port cable lying around?
Realised I'll need to get prescription lenses if I keep it. For the time being I will be very careful using glasses.
Comfort was a problem for me, I bought the globular cluster Comfort mod, the difference is massiveI got mine the other day playing gt7 in VR is really good a little low res but what do you expect (i'm used to the Varjo Aero) but it's got to be one of the most uncomfortable vr headsets ever and it feels cheap too :S

I ended up with the soft cloth on the front and cooling gel with rubber cover on the backAny tips on setting the the GC up? I found it slightly better, but not a game-changer for comfort / sweet spot. I've tried different combos of the various cushions. What worked best for you?
