I'd say they both are good in their own ways. I personally feel the ps3 is nicer to navigate and aesthetically pleasing but the blades of the 360 are better integrated.
Problem is, those shots tend not to be in game, more the 'gallery' shots.
I have my PS3 for formula 1 only thats why i purchased it in the first place and blu ray as for other games iv'e played a few such as drakes fortune but become bored a 3rd the way in so unless you want or like the titles out at the moment for said console then i would not go for it.
Nice legs shame about the face == nice console shame about the games.

Yeah the games line up definitely lets it down for the moment. I have both and play my 360 a lot more.
However, some big releases are coming this year. Why not wait until some of those land? You might get some good bundles or deals with them.

I thought GT:HD was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen from all the screens posted then I actually had a go...
I guess by now there's not a lot more that can be added, but i'd certainly reccommend it. (not that i think the 360 is bad, i own both, but the PS3 has come a long way in the last 12 months and it's future looks very bright.
Whilst it may not have the wealth of games or too many exclusive AAA titles at the moment it's certainly not lacking in good games to play on it.
RFoM, Motorstorm, Ratchet and Clank, CoD4, Uncharted, DMC4, GH3, Burnout, Skate,Warhawk, Pro Evo, Hot Shots Golf, Ninja Gaiden, etc etc etc. Whatever suits your taste.

It also has a good 08 lineup, is future proof, has a blu-ray player, can act as a media server.
It's definately good value for money.

Im sure if you look about you will seen in game pics for GT5P, but its still very hard to capture HDMI and get a nice clean 1080P photo. Look at the pics done for IGN and Eurogamer for all games, they look bad as there rescaled and compressed, neogaf has some images about page 81 on the GT5P thread taken by a digital camera (cant link naughty words possibly). As regards to not being in-game pics, its the same for forza and PGR, most pics taken are from replay/Photo modes, as they are probably easier to capture and look far more impressive. I would say that a replay mode was in-game as its using the engine, e.g. for GT5P its using the same car models you drive around and the same track details it just adds extra lighting, increasing the AA but lowering it to 30FPS from 60FPs.
Sorry to go off topic if people want some GT5P pics ill find them and post them in the right thread.
yep 720P/1080P 60FPs and 30FPS for replays

I really don't think you can say very poor. If you don't like it then fair enough but for to say its very poor is a blatant lie IMO. Average I think you could argue , as in the same breathe you could argue there awesome

Not baiting, I was being honest. I've been playing it again today. I've never said it's a bad game, it's not. It's a good game.
It is however, quite slow and it does have noticeable frame dips (often the result of going below 30fps, not 60fps).
I've seen it. Yes it goes quick, but it's an F1 car. It's all relative, but the 'slow' cars are too slow. Even in London, 60mph to the surroundings isn't close to real-life.
