You can play used games on both of the current iterations and most likely they will both allow used games on the new iterations.
Obviously be prepared to pay for online passes for some 2nd hand online games, but that is already the case today.

Sounds entirely plausible but I don't know why only snippets of the Durango XDK documentation are being leaked. If it was me, I'd be tempted to spill on the whole affair.Luckily for MS, I am not a developer.

Looks like there's another leaked document (well, one I hadn't seen before) related to Durango. Confirms Microsofts intention of an 'always on' connection and that all physical games will have to be installed to the HDD - No games will run off disc.
Not sure if it's genuine but here it is:

Agreed I am taking all this with a pinch of salt until I hear something definite from MS. I like what I've heard from Sony so far and will be definitely getting a PS4 at some point (though maybe not at launch, unsure yet). The Sony leaks were pretty accurate but that doesn't mean to say the MS ones are!
Just have to wait and see...
All the leaks about the PS4 were true, why would the ones about the next Xbox all be false?
The only good thing to have from that is a nice silent machine, but imagine going out, buying a nice shiny new game then having to wait for 30-60 mins or more for it to install![]()
