As a caveat Id say the PS4 could produce, by effect, as good as PC version of Crysis 3 though it just wont have the real technical bells and whistles that make such games so GFX hungry and that PC gamers claw too..

Will it matter? Well not really unless you play screenshots where you can really tell the difference, in motion it will be more than good enough, even if 'faked'.

Though it does perplex me why we even consider Crysis 3 worth debating, when its a mediocre game in this years shiny gimp bodysuit with sparkles. Though it does make me wonder if the PC gamers in here ever wonder when theyll get something like Uncharted? You know a game thats actual worth the actual ambition in the first place...

Exactly this. Far cry 3 is much better game. But even there, it always seems the hardware and power available gets used to make shinier/smoother/vaster first person shooters. I've said once before, we need to see devs make something amazing for pc. I would love to see the likes of watchdogs hit pc, without a console release. If it meant the full vision could be realised.

We know it could have been done 1000x over already considering the power available. Yet they carry on opting for fps. Fps. Mmo. Mmo. Last game that came to pc that I loved was witcher and witcher 2. Visually stunning for their times. But thats rare.

Mind verifying why you think your guess is actually educated? Ill give you a hint, Streeteh already replied to you why it isnt...

If you actually want a futile task, why dont you find out how well Crysis 3 plays on an identical specced PC to a PS3 and we can at least have some 'fun' extrapolating ratios between PS3:PS4 (unknown) versus 'PS3' PC:'PS4' PC. Im sure you work out the unitary methodology from there...

Apples and oranges. You honestly dont seem to understand. I'll dumb it down. Devs aim to make 1 game run on 1 hardware spec at a time. So with devs having access to source code, sdk, 8gb ddr5, bluray, an 8core cpu and a series 7000 gpu. You cant see how they can bleed that stone? It seems you're talking from an angle that doesn't know about coding, especually bare metal coding. No offense intended.
 
cod is developed for xbox 360.

looks very bad in my opinion, + framerate is very inconstant

this, all on an engine from 99 optimized for Xbox 360.

people put far to much faith into developer ability to "optimize" for consoles.

What does that have to do with ps4? And for the record ms dont allow the same access to its hardware on the development level as sony. But again. Why mention 360? This isnt console vs pc. Its what is ps4 capable of.
 
I didnt need to edit it, correcting your spelling is the least of your troubles if you think using COD as the basis of your educated guess is vaguely appropriate.

What? ...i dont get ya? There are other sites. Go search them out. That was first link I found as I was heading out to work. But you're doing a good job of proving to us you're talking from a view point with zero knowledge. You seem to be the sort that doesn't believe in something and so you put your view point as fact. Thats fine, if you have some sort knowledge\backing with regards to the topic. You werent even aware of the sony bare metal coding, which is common knowledge if you've an interest in this stuff.
