If you need atleast 970 for most popular VR what hope can a ps4 have @1080p
Minecraft.
There is a breakout box? Does it have a GPU in it?
Tbh it will be successful...but clearly rubbish in comparison.

PSVR runs at 60fps whereas the Rift & Vive run at 90fps, which is why the PS4 can get away with having less gpu grunt than a 970.

From what I've read PSVR does some form of reprojection to hit 120hz refresh.
Sure it said that games can run at either 45 or 60 fps, which is then reprojected to a 90 or 120hz refresh.
I'll see if I can dig the article up.
will this work on PS4 only or will it be able to connect to the pc as its so much cheaper than the other offerings!
I can already see Japanese developers getting "creative" with VR, such as "Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball VR" (that's would not be released in the west due to Feminists pressure lol).
I'm hoping that the PSVR is compatible with the PC. Doesn't matter if it's better or worse, the key point is that it's highly likely to drive down prices.
Jeff MinterI'm so excited about PSVR and can't wait to try it out.
The list of confirmed PSVR games keeps growing https://www.reddit.com/r/playstationvr
No Mans Sky, Eve, Battlezone, 100ft robot golf and the latest Jeff Minter Llamasoft game (http://www.yakyak.org/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=86337) all have me super hyped
I just need Bungie to patch Destiny for PSVR
