Quest 3 owners etc

Even tho I did buy a couple of cables for my Quest 3 I am yet to use them. We have needed to change primary rooms where we play most of the games, due to breakages.
Watching our grandchildren play I certainly would not want a cable to be added to the potential for mishaps.
One day I might try out a cable, perhaps upping the overall bitrate as well using the dev tools.

I do seem to have bought more pancake games recently than I have done in a long time, to run them in VR....!

if I want real freedom of movement playing outside is king, but my WiFi is no where near strong enough for that so then I have to use the quest ports of games. worth it though imo. that is where the real strength of the quest lies imo
really long eithernet cable and power extension to move router outside :D solves the problem

I've had mine about a month so far and have absolutely zero buyers remorse.

So far 4 friends have bought one off the back of it and we've been main lining Walkabout mini golf. Definitely a contender for one of my favourite online multiplayer games of all time.

well sHo0sH your always welcome to shoot an update on the social thread if you feel like playing with a few extra and see whos around at the time. or join us ect
Walkabout is defo a good go to :)
as a hang out i found the Meta Horizons - Bobber bay fishing
to be rather chill as well, just start a privote session if you want just the 5 of you. i do keep going back to that one just in solo.

Yes it is. It's probably the best social VR game out there. We have have been playing it for the last 2 years at least. When I say "We" I mean a group of us from here on the OCUK forums meet and play every Monday night.

Demeo (4players) / amoung us (in a big group 8-10) are also good.
but there isnt much in the 5player category thats good.

Mannequin is 5 player and might be good, have to try that at some point its 5 players

What’s the best router to get a decent PC VR wireless experience using the Quest 3?

Currently with BT using a Smart Hub 2 which is rubbish and doesn’t support wifi6.

Tried the Q3 in a commercial jet, watching videos and istening to music in the VD apartment environment. I nodded off and when I woke up I'd no idea where I was.
This new multi screen feature was a bit of a pain, as I kept poking the woman in the next seat to me in the ear when I tried to close the window down.

Welcome to the collective, resistance was futile.
Would recommend an AMVR facial interface for comfort and lens protectors to keep those big pancakes pristine.

That looks like a solid list and Half-Life: Alyx and Walkabout Mini Golf are both games that I would still strongly recommend purchasing today.

I played HLA on Quest 2. One day when I get some spare time I will play through it again on my Quest 3.
