Dear Nick,
Going forward, please provide a replay with your protest, not a video. A cut replay allows us to look at the incident from any angle and view other information that may be helpful
We appreciate you taking the time to file this protest and providing a replay of the incident. After reviewing the replay, we understand your frustration, but we do not feel either driver caused the accident intentionally or with malice. From what I could see in your long view video, there is slight contact and then due to lag there could be different reactions on both ends that do not allow the cars to get away from each other.
The ratings and licensing systems are the main policing agents of the service. We also offer drop races to help recover from the incident. If you race in more than one race your worst result will be dropped from the points total in that week. All members receive incidents for which they are not at fault. Drivers who consistently make good decisions will find it easy to improve their iRating and License Level. Drivers who do not will have to improve their driving and possibly their outlook to do the same. You can learn more about the no fault incident system, ratings systems, and the philosophies behind those systems by reading the iRacing Sporting Code found here.

For these reasons we will not be moving forward with this protest.
Thank you for your time and understanding.
Enjoy your racing,
Nim Cross
