and specific instruction - When we come back online, please restrict your activity to registering and joining only. Guess things are pretty tight for them resource wise for these big events.

I have to go to work in, er, five minutes and already have my coat on. I doubt I'll get chance to register and get a bit of compensation.

10.15pm race start but the count down timer says 25 mins so thats going to be a 10.30pm start 646 signed up so far

979 people with about 10 minutes to go but the amount isn't going up any more so assume there are issues as others have said. Pretty sure clicking on anything now will give server down message.

It has been giving Internal Server Error messages for good 10 minutes now. Anyway they went back to maintenance now:

yeah just went to click on the race and it came up with the maintenance site. Looks like my another beer run made me miss the event. Probably for the best lol.

a lot of waiting for no racing, shame they couldnt have sorted it out as the numbers really did seem very big and would have made for some fun racing.

On both the occasions I've been away for a while (once in 2009, and again this year) I've had a $10 for 3 Months code sent after I've been away for three+ months. I think it's part of their automated customer retention efforts... and it clearly works on some of us. :-)

I had $10 in credits (participation bonus) left on the service and that paid the $10 automatically. So it wasn't really free, as such. It just cost me nothing.

I have been trying to get rFactor to work with my g27 and its being a complete pain, the steering is either very heavy or incredibly light and doesn't really turn the wheels at all!

And now for some reason it gets stuck on full lock one way or the other I can't get the wheel to be central without struggling to hold it in the middle.
