I'm going to have to get my Jato 3.3 up and working after viewing this thread. The electric cars are good and fast, but there's something about Nitro that gets the heart thumping
That'll just be all the fumes giving you arrhythmia
Can you close up on the shocks? Often manufactures stick to same shock design a cross loads of cars so might be able to get manufacturer from that.Hi,
I know the car on the left is a Tamiya TGX, but Does anyone now the car on the right?
so far i know it has a tamiya fuel tank installed on it, but from what i have been told only the tg10 mk2 has a tank in that position and this isn't a tg10 mk2 by the looks of it.
Also I am guessing that it's a 1/10 scale, as the tgx is 1/8 and looks bigger as it should do.
sorry for the blurry photos

Hard to say what it is from current pics, not a Serpant or Kyosho. Unlikely to be a Schumacher unless shocks are purple alloy (and would expect other purple alloy on car) - I don't recognise it as a Tamiya either, the style of the bits doesn't look quite right for that.
Old HPI possibly? How old do you think it is?
@Timbo_La sorry still don't recognizer that, maybe try the forums at rctech.net or on Oople - someone there should be able to help I would think.
What scale do you think 1/10th? You have all of the electrics or do you need a ESC, motor, servo, receiver? My sons birthday coming up. Any recommendations on a rock crawler? Preferably kit but could live with RTR. Would rather use our own transmitters and lipos since we have tonnes and would enjoy a build.
Budget up to say £350 but could push that if worth while and would happily spend less!
You'll want a brushless motor, and probably waterproof servo and receiver assuming you want 2.4ghz radio equipment. Got any more details of the model?

Spektrum do some good marine racievers and radios, Savox make some very nice water proof servos at a good price - but will need specifics for the sizes and what might be appropriate etc!
Looks epic!
Looking into that model further its going to be a real labour of love that job as its mostly wood other than the Hull - it was intended for a gas motor so I guess there's some provision in there for a motor plate and prop mounting. Probably going to need some decent pics of parts and a dedicated model boat forum as it looks a touch more complex than a car or a cheap modern brushless kit boat. Its basically he same as this one here,

1:32 scale with fibreglass Hull. Currently single prop/rudder.

I started reading this and gave up - your going to be doing lots of research I think: https://www.building-model-boats.com/model-boat-motor.html
