Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. Reality check, are AMD just as bad as Nvidia.

The 48 CU one would put it 30% faster than the 6700XT, that would make it about 90% the performance of the 6800XT or RTX 4070, or a few % faster than the RX 6800.

The 7900XTX was priced in line with the 6900XT, $999
The 7900XT was way over priced at $899 but has now been officially reduced to $749
The 7600 was priced 22% lower than the 6600 while being 27% faster at $269

Whatever comes next must be priced lower than $749.

7800XT: $649?
7800: $579?
7700XT $479?

Those 3 prices are the same as the previous gen they are replacing.

IMO from that slide the 60 CU one is the RX 7800.
The 70 CU one the RX 7800XT.

UK price if current exchange rates hold:

7800XT: £595
7800: £462
7700XT: £439
I really hope it either competes with the 4070 at 499 or it's 430 and within 10% slower than the 4070 or the choice of 32 4070's sku's on OCUK will be the main seller.

I have a bad feeling AMD might try and charge nearly £500 for the second tier Navi 32 SKU.

They really should price the RX7700XT close to £400,because it would an upgrade path for existing RX6700XT and RTX3060TI owners.

I need something with more muscle.
I'm VRam constrained in some games and that's only going to get worse.
I record a lot of videos, i may edit some soon, i want high image quality without 50GB files.
Use cpu encoding for better quality at smaller file sizes.
Also why do you have 50 gigs of skibidi toilet content?

This is why the 4090 is a ripoff.

This is the cheapest 4090, its £1560

RX 7900XT: £800
Ryzen 7700: £309
B650 motherboard: £190
32GB CL30 6000MT/s DDR5: £140
750 Watt Gold rated PSU: £90
Mid Tower Case: £80
240mm AIO: £90

Total cost: £1699 for an entire PC, a good one.

Absolutely no crap in that setup, its all good stuff.

A single GPU is nearly as expensive as all of those quality products.

This does put things in perspective doesn't it. There is one cheaper 4090 (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/zota...dr6x-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-13e-zt.html) and you forgot a SSD but still, your point stands.

Oh no enthusiasts high end product is expensive compared to lower end products, that's totally never happened before! Shock horror! Did you also know you can buy quite a lot of PC components for the price of a 7950x or 13900k. You can also buy multiple Tesla Model 3 cars forbthe price of one Model S. You can also buy multiple iPhones for the price of one Pro Max. You can buy a quest headset and a pc for the price of one quest pro.

I know it already, your mind has been blown. Humbug as he realises:

Well I was trying to help to convince you that you don't need an upgrade and Steve seems to agree - just wait for another 18 months. You've already waited for a while and if you've been able to put up with an old card for this long you can surely put up for another 18 months

You say that as if there is anything reasonable about this situation.

There is an upgrade path for someone who owns a 2070S, this is 56% faster than my card, did Steve say anything about that?
