2 remake was and still remains the bad egg IMO. It never got the black levels quite right so when you're in a dark room, you're jjust surrounded by washed out blackness, and HDR doesn't work, not that I use it too much anyway but still!

That and the fact they should have done better overall with the game in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but it could have been great. To me they took a step back from the original, where as for RE 4 Remake they took a step forward.

I'll get this when it comes down in price.

Nothing worse than getting to the end of a Res Evil game and realising you could have been doing things better with your inventory, weapons etc! What's the best weapon to work on and fully upgrade? Any tips?

That's why I take my time and explore everywhere before moving on and also go for headshots if I can. Ammo conservacion is a lot of fun in Resi games, for me anyway. I usually get to the end though and realise oh ****, got all this awesome weapons and ammo I did not get to use all

I did a run through on assisted over the last couple of days to grab a few more challenges/trophies and to get the money for the infinite launcher then i did a speed run through with that on hardcore. I am at about 4.30 and probably have less than 30 mins to go. I have no idea how anyone could complete on Professional in less than 5.5hrs without any of the mad weapons.

I had to change the mode to assisted for the final boss as was getting faffed about by him and just didn't want to spend loads of cycles of time nailing a correct tactic :o

I bought the rocket launcher for him specifically. After dazing him by shooting his eyeball leg things, used that then the upgraded magnum and he was done in about 20 seconds

It was Ramon Salazar that did my head in!

Oh yeah forgot about that one, what a faff that was too.

On my second playthrough (New game +) I kept hold of the Golden egg instead of selling it to the merchant.

Then at the start of the battle I threw it at his face, and blasted him a few times with a maxed out magnum and that was enough to kill him very quickly...like 5-10 seconds.

Bloody hell, you completed it twice already? I want your adult life, I am still on chapter 10!

Loving it so far. Definitely better than the original for me.
