I just picked one of these up today on bootsale for £2 there was loads of jap games aswell but i never got them.I wished i bought the games now, quackshots, indiana jones, splatter house 2.

Unfortunately, like a complete wally, and for some reason I can no longer remember, I tried running it off of a non-standard PSU once, and after that it developed a problem! Something went wrong with a voltage regulator I think as the screen used to have problems holding sync, although one or two games (one of which was Streetfighter 2) ran perfectly. Must've been something to do with the screen resolution now I come to think of it.Montario said:Check what crazy words a jap megadrive has round the ring, not my pic ofcos, sold mine ages ago, with much regret. was MINT.... These Megadrives were good in that they ran any game from anywhere in the world, Jap, USA, Europe, whatever!

I've got one of these also! That's strange you say about the eye piece as one of the ones on mine is snapped off also. Must've been a weak spot or something.ONESHOTKILL said:I managed to pick up a Sega megadrive Menacer scope for £5 today boxed with instructions and the 6 in 1 game. There is one problem with it which is that where the eye piece fits onto a piece of the plastic is snapped off but it still fits on.
I've got one of these, up in the loft somewhere I think! Worked last time I used it, although that was many many years ago. I took the batteries out so theres no reason why it shouldn't work again if I tried it!ONESHOTKILL said:I got another Retro Treasure today from a local car boot for a price of £2 i got this little baby.It needs abit of a clean I have no batteries that fit either so not sure if it works but for £2 cant realy moan if it dont work.I also picked up a Grey gameboy the big one.Its abit tatty and the batteries clip is snapped but for £1 was a bargain.
