You evil people made me buy a CD32:D Always wanted one and now I have her. Just need an SX-1/SX32 board for it...hmmm...

You'll need to pick up Super Stardust, Pinball Illusions and Roadkill as well as the Chaos Engine if you dont already have them. Super Stardust really is great :)

Check what crazy words a jap megadrive has round the ring, not my pic ofcos, sold mine ages ago, with much regret. was MINT.... Impossible to find something like that again.

I just picked one of these up today on bootsale for £2 there was loads of jap games aswell but i never got them.I wished i bought the games now, quackshots, indiana jones, splatter house 2.

That's it, I'm off to the car boot on Sunday to get myself some more retro goodness! Managed to get HOTD2 + Gun box set for £10 off ebay the other day. Think I'm going to look out for a boxed MD though as I've never owned one before

there is always sega stuff on my local bootsales but i am not realy a fan of sega i prefer picking up nintendo stuff.I have seen boxed mega drives on the bootsale for £10 but there is a guy that goes around my local bootsales and he buys up all the old consoles.

I have looked through, and I cant see one of those Super Nintendo's, which took the cartridges about half the size of A4 paper!

Steve :)

just been on a course with a guy who used to work for Rare studios (now owned by microsoft) and he is always knocking out stuff on ebay as well as building up a bit of a "private collection" for the future. he is lucky that he is good with electronics so that he can fix most broken kit. he sends his wife into the car boot sales and tells her to buy anything working or not and then refurbs it and knocks it out on ebay

some people of cause have no shame....

I've got one of them, must still be up in the loft somewhere. Unfortunately, like a complete wally, and for some reason I can no longer remember, I tried running it off of a non-standard PSU once, and after that it developed a problem! Something went wrong with a voltage regulator I think as the screen used to have problems holding sync, although one or two games (one of which was Streetfighter 2) ran perfectly. Must've been something to do with the screen resolution now I come to think of it.
These Megadrives were good in that they ran any game from anywhere in the world, Jap, USA, Europe, whatever! :D

No such thing? The US SNES had square shaped cartridges, whilst European and Japanese models were more rounded, but they were roughly the same size.

I was always a console kiddie back in the day and rarely played games on any home computer. Bought an Amiga 500 with a "couple" of games for £20 off a mate from work today though (I'm too impulsive >.<), had to get another mate to drive me home because of this system (3 boxes in whole and yeah, the system box is massive O.O). A lot of the games are copies but a fair few of the gems are originals as well from the looks of it.

I've got one of these also! That's strange you say about the eye piece as one of the ones on mine is snapped off also. Must've been a weak spot or something.

I've got one of these, up in the loft somewhere I think! Worked last time I used it, although that was many many years ago. I took the batteries out so theres no reason why it shouldn't work again if I tried it!
