Very nice price on "Bust A Groove" it's one of the best rhythm games on the Playstation 1 in my opinion

I didn't when I place the bid, but it read up on it.. it seem to the buy it now price that most people are asking for it. and I need a throw away disc to use to so I can play my import games.

its a shame I didn't get that bust a grove but I was too busy drinking. I'm kinda speculating that the prices on the games that I got will go up as they don't seem very common at all. Of course I'm only getting games that I will actually play.

took delivery of this last night. All works great, need to get some better games! Also had Road Rash 64

I've ordered a scart cable (as my TV flickers when using an analogue input for some reason), and will be ordering an expansion pak and rumble pak asap

very happy with it, annoyed about my TV though, as I thought it was my old Spectrum that was the issue.

Which one?

There are 2 or 3 pads that use that name.

I have one, I like it very much. I prefer it over the originals, but it might not be the same as the one you are thinking of.

Lovely clean system bro. I do love my 600 although its not quite a 1200 .....for those knds of games too. Have boxed as new copies od pinball dreams and fantasies

Sega Dreamcast pickups

Here are a couple bits that arrived this week. After hearing so much praise for ArcadeForge's scanline generator the SLG 3000 I decided to take the plunge as it's meant to make DC games look miles better on modern LCD televisions, particularly 2D fighters, which I'm a big fan off, hence a purchase of Vampire Chronicle :cool:

Not a fan of scan lines.. I tend to turn them off when its an option on modern releases/remakes of games. A scalier looks interesting.

Did you look into the home made ones people have made?

I have seen some of scalers talked about on eBay, ArcadeForge sell them and even do a scalier unit with a sync and SLG built into one unit. To be fair I really only tend to hook the Dreamcast up via VGA to my TV but if I did use the other console more then I might consider one.

Scanlines do really make 2D old school games look better as they were designed to be displayed on screens that showed scanlines, and when you sit away from the screen the image just appears crisper. I guess playing old console on a CRT is the way to go but I'm not quite that hardcore, plus CRTs take up loads of space.

I've got a mint PAL copy of Bust-A-Groove as well as the NTSC only Bust-A-Groove 2 in my collection, I'll post some pictures up. I've also got factory sealed platinum copies of Spyro 1, 2 & 3

I think I lucked out.. the disc I got with the case was the full version... maybe someone was trying to be cleaver and used the demo case for the full game thinking they get more for it.
