I spent all last summer going to two local car boots a week. 99% of stuff was PlayStation 2 and most of those were FIFA or PES games. The odd time a came across anything else it was just a reseller asking stupid money.
I just trawl Gumtree and Shpock on an almost hourly basis most of the time.
Picked up a boxed PS2 with two controllers, DVD remote and an EyeToy for £10 on Saturday.
I even managed a decent win on eBay. A Master System mark 1, two controllers and an RGB Scart lead from Retro Gaming Cables for £34 delivered.
I don't need the controllers so I can move them on and clear £10 and the fact I don't have to buy an RGB SCART saves me another £10. So I see that as a Master System for less than £15. It had Hang On and Safari Hunt built in so two games as well.

The only way is either using a composite lead or rgb on a modern tv. The smaller the tv the better.
