Return to 'The Troubles'?

:D

I don't get how anyone actually gets the time to be bothered about this other than the inconvenience both sides cause any time one of these events rears its ugly head.

The only people that usually get time to kick up a fuss on both sides are the people from a benefits/DLA background, since they usually don't get up until about 2pm and crack open a cider.
Take Kilwilkie for instance, it's like a desert wasteland for the taxman.

Unfortunately "scumbaggery" seems to be hereditary, and parents do pass on their poison. Then the kids grow up thinking they've some significant knowledge or standing on what actually happened years ago.

See this is so true, there are people in both sides who continue to regurgitate the same old BS and yet they think they are so different from the "scum" on the other side.

@Biohazards images, you seriously expect those images to be any different from what they are? I think you need to put things into perspective. More trouble in NI compared to the government ****ing themselves while the world watches the city hosting the Olympics go into turmoil? Everyone has there views but I think you're getting a bit carried away with yourself with that post.

Going mental again tonight.

I hate this place, extremely depressing that folk are this fickle.

Security alert on the M1, near our only major hospital
Roads blocked all over the city and outer areas
Rioting, petrol bombing, bricks and bottles sporadically over the city and in a number of other towns and areas.
Double decker bus hijacked and burnt out barricading another road in belfast... Cars burnt out in the centre.
Mile long tail backs coming into the city.

All this in the space of an hour or two, going to be a long night. Someone will be killed, roads blocked affecting emergency services is my biggest worry.

Might as well stick this in here too;

Northern Irish riots over Union flag as a prysm over politics and deprivation;

The Irony of being a zealot for a Parliament and Union that cares little about you other than platitudes and soundbites.

The choice between indifference or out right hostility is but a progressive compromise. :p

As soon as you hear "YYYYYEEEEOOOOOO!", you know exactly the kind of people standing there. No reasoning with them whatsoever.

Should be legal to simply wheel out the 30 cal. and clean the gene pool some.

PSNI do possess the firepower to do it... It would be a much more effective method of sorting out the immediate problem.

If they did that the PSNI would be finish, it would be like the night of the long knifes. The only safe place for them and their families would be Place Barracks along with their civil support staff. Half the British army would be call in to protect them.

Are you suggesting that its fake or something.

It's from a radio station, you can hear that surely?

No, but I'd like to hear more of it than 30 seconds. Hell, I'd like to hear the man himself speaking about what happened. What radio station? What radio show? Who is the man involved? Why was he going to the hospital at the time he was when he knew the protests where planned? Why didn't he go earlier? We need more than 30 seconds.

Forgive me for not being outraged and climbing on my high horse over a 30 second audio clip. I don't doubt it's authenticity but it's telling that you would accuse someone of suggesting that it's fake, which means that even you're aware that the propagandha machine in Northern Ireland is alive and well.
