Okay, here it was out of the box. The white saddle is just awful and is being replaced by a Fizik Antares.

I agree.
I saw a list of 'top 10 aero bikes' or something on bikeradar not long ago. I'm a big fan of fat-tube aero frames and i loved them all...except the cervelo.
I think it would be fine if it wasnt for that silly headtube.

edit: i think that picture you posted is a medium or a small, the large looks even worse :(

Argh. It's an abomination to look at but I bet it's fast. I think wan't an aero frame for next bike with standard cranks. Put the C50's on it and keep the C24's on the R5 for training/climbing/all day riding

Apart form the saddle (and maybe the bar tape) looks nice. What is it's role in the fleet?

Soooo.

Tubular, tubeless or clinchers....!?

Cursing my BB30, it creaked for 20km on Saturday then stopped for the next 60.

Got on the rollers tonight, after pumping up a slow flat which I need to fix tonight... creak creak creak!

Now what do I do, get the bike in the shop and have it sorted $$$ or buy one from the shop and DIY and hope its the BB causing it. It only creaks while pedalling and putting reasonable power through the cranks. If you soft pedal or freewheel it doesn't creak.

I don't want to do almost 100k on Saturday with it being noisy and I doubt I'll make many friends in the group!

I quite like the orange tape but when it's due a change it will be to black. The Pearson s/s has been demoted to all-weather commuter. The Cinelli will be dry commuter and also winter trainer for when the Rose hibernates.

Long term upgrade plan is light hand built rims or shallow Campagnolo wheels to make it a climber as it has a compact chainset and I want to keep the Rose with deep rims.

Is it a press-fit bottom bracket or is it held in with circlips?
If it's circlips, you could whip the bearings out and clean up the outer surfaces then regrease it and put it back together.

I ran tubeless for a while and can't say I was massively impressed. I wanted to be, especially after the amount I'd forked out for the wheels, but the tyres just aren't great.

I prefer decent quality clinchers over tubeless. Never ridden tubs.

Changing the subject; I love the S5 :(

If I was looking for an aero frame I'd be looking at the Scott Foil and the S2, maybe a Litespeed Archon C1 if I wanted something out of the ordinary.

I've never fit a panier rack ever but surely from those pics someone will know if I need disc break specific or whether a normal one can fit?

I'v never fitted a pannier either, so i'm just guessing but i think you'll be fine with any pannier.
Your frame is drilled for a rim brake and even has a bolt in there already (the bit that your mudguard is attached to) so i think that if a pannier did need to attach to a brake, it would go on there with the mudguard.

^Can't see **** on those, brighten them perhaps?

And what does this do?

Nothing lol it's not real. I just slapped it together while I had Xcode open and should be doing some 'proper' work.

The apps I made if you're actually interested were basically all gpx exporters.

They don't work anymore since they cut off access to the v2 API. And I didn't get a key to v3 for obvious reasons as they made downloading other peoples GPX a premium feature so obviously don't wan't 3rd parties doing it for free.

i donned the lycra and hit the road at 5am thismorning for my first ride, 3.5mi and i averaged 13.9mph :)
can someone give me a link where i can sign up for next years TDF please?
