Love riding in the fog (apart from the inherent increased risks etc), but my brakes were completely useless.

Get some proper winter clothes and you'll be fine. I treated myself to a Castelli jacket, and it's epic in proper cold weather. I'm sure with a baselayer on too, I'll be fine in sub 0 temps.

My feet however, are a different story! I think I'll need more than just some woolie boolie socks.

Get these

What jacket did you get? I want the Velocissimo Equipe in the green colour :(

Ooooh that is a nice jacket! Doesn't look like it's that expensive though but feels good quality. Quite like the funky zips that you flip up and then just pull the jacket open.

I've got a couple of the velocissimo coming as a local guy is getting one, bib tights,a jersey, base layers, socks and gloves from Castelli from his wife.Wish I had a wife like that.

I'm wearing a few layers at the moment and my cheapy Decathlon overshoes mean my feet aren't cold but not exactly warm either. I think some better socks will be bought soon.

Don't think I'll be buying anything Castelli for a while though.

Yeh it is, I thought I'd treat myself. I'm doing a lot of miles at the moment, so it's not being neglected.

I got it in white too, it does look a bit pimp lol! Especially as I have 50/50 black and white bib tights....and a white bike! I didn't want black as I would be commuting a lot, so white would help a bit more, and the red wouldnt match anything I have currently.

It's pretty frightening to think for a summer and winter kit (from Castelli) you could buy a very nice bike!!

The Espresso.
Super comfy, and VERY warm. The sort of temperatures we're having now are about the upper limit though for me, anything higher and I get too hot.

Love Castelli gear. Quality manufacturer, lovely jacket. Though I'd be too scared of getting oil/crap/dirt on it to get it in white!

Hmm, im a M in DHB so L castelli, ive dropped quit a few kilos lately and none of my trousers or jeans fit - should i chance M castelli or are they that much smaller?

I got a L jersey and XL shorts from Castelli....I use a L pair of Santini shorts.

The Castelli shorts feel really tight compared to my Santini ones. Almost too tight but I think they might stretch once worn. I think I'm a 32" waste and 22" on the thigh.

I have a Castelli Squadra waterproof and needed an XL, bought a L and XL and took the L back.
Think i would do the same again on a jersey or jacket from Castelli.

I'm around a 40-41" chest.

First time using my rollers today, and its bloody hard work!
as ive never done it before, its very tricky!

got my step dad with me, so no falling off for me!
