Those Decathlon shoes look ace!

I'm waiting to pull the trigger on a pair of Bont Vaypor+:
http://www.bontcycling.com/products/road/vaypor+_2016/index.html

Nobody in the UK seems to have them in stock yet and the only place I could see selling them online was in Australia, but I worry the price is now going to be crazy with the £:$

A supplier in Germany: https://www.bike24.com/1.php?content=8;product=111377;menu=1000,18,154 Although they are Vaypor+ they look a bit different from your link :/
You will probably still get screwed by the Euro to GBP though :(

Supposed to be 50 miler today. Up at 7am - pouring with rain, went back to bed. Other boys who live closer to the meeting point got up at 7.30am and it had stopped and started to dry up - they went out!!

Stayed lovely all morning................raging!! Should have just manned up and started getting ready etc.

These are the current bars I'm carrying when cycling, really loving the flavour and getting a good solid feel to my stamina. Think they're currently in a Morrisons sale of £2.50 for 5 so they are a little more expensive than I'd normally spend... Although carbs does sound a little low!? Lots of different things within them and quite natural ingredients, thoughts?

If you want more carbs just bang in a half/whole banana with one. Very cheap.

You can make your own version of the 'Crunchy' bars yourself using rolled oats. (Similar to hobnobs). I get 4 for 50p from the local market so haven't gone to the effort myself yet.

Oh dear... my Garmin got a bit wet last night and this morning with the sun shining on it I got a big damp patch in the inside of the screen! It cleared after half an hour so probably nothing to worry about. I kind of want an Element though so I'd obviously be devastated if it packs up :p

I was kicking myself taking the hybrid out this morning as the roads were fine, then I hit the quite lanes and the mud

Legs feel a bit funny at the moment as I ran home from the village hall on Thursday as it was hammering down. A whopping 1 mile and it nearly finished me off :p

Exactly this... which goes against me buying waterproof to go riding.
Silly me, but will be out tomorrow for a good 30 mile spin and then some hills.

First 'proper' session on the rollers. Got them shortly before I went away and probably spent a maximum of 5 minutes on them in 3 separate stints, got the hang of it quickly but not had the chance to dedicate any time to them until this afternoon.

Figured it'd be a leisurely/lazy Saturday afternoon spin before 50m tomorrow. Been so long since I've trained indoors I forgot how sweaty an affair it is!

Pro tip: try not to use them next to metal shelving, frequent static shocks don't do wonders for trying to maintain balance :p

Nice bike! Briefly rode a friends Pro Carbon today in Orange with Rival and Vision 35s. Seems fairly nice though I didn't get on with Sram too well. The shifters don't feel anywhere near as comfortable as my Shimano ones.

Said I wanted a nice easy ride with my mates today, wasn't expecting it to be as easy as it was :D Ave HR of 117bpm @ 16.3mph/146W. Gonna have a sleep and watch the nationals now!
