I just ordered one of these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/castelli-mtn-qhubeka-cycling-cap/

First piece of castelli clothing. I feel like such a pro.

:D

I now have three bits from castelli

nano flex knee warmers, rain jacket and my lovely body paint 2.0 bib shorts that I got from castelli café for £75 ;)

Done 25 miles today !
started feeling it towards the end, back held on quite well, slight niggle, but didn't get me though, :)

Yet again having issues with my Garmin cadence meter. Sigh. It's the old GSC-10(?), anyone bought one of the newer ones? Worth the money?

can't comment on the cadence one but the speed sensor has been working without flaws for the last 6-7months! :)

100%

I have the newer version cadence and speed sensors, fitted months ago and have worked flawlessly with not a single ocassion of unpairing or messing about to get them working again. They just pair and work, forever. It seems!

Back from 2 weeks in Cuba, a mix of Havana and an all-inclusive beach resort. Going from 30-35c to pouring rain isn't very pleasant, now to remember how to ride a bike!

It's going to be a struggle :p

Was out doing a fair bit of walking today but got home at 7:30 feeling like a ride. Felt pretty strong so pressed the attack button for a few miles on the run home! No PRs but a strong average speed. I created a segment that covered the proper bit of the ride (i.e not getting off the estate I live on) as it is a route I ride regularly.

20mph average over 12 miles which I'm quite pleased with :)

Ignore the KOM as I've only just created the segment so it hasn't populated yet :p

Good ride this evening. 26 miles and 1800 feet of climbing, so quite hilly, about 70ft per mile. Absolutely ludicrous wall of tarmac 13 miles in which nearly finished me off, but I knew it was only short so I kept going. There's a decent chunk of the route that I've only ever done in the opposite direction, so it was quite nice to see it going the other way.

Between some of their driving and some of your cycling it's a wonder you're not dead yet

what was wrong with my cycling in the above video then? :P I guess it's very unusual for people who live outside of the city to see that much traffic/movement on the road! and that filtering must look super risky too.

It does look like pretty aggressive filtering.

I think the main risk to you is that one day you'll come up against someone else doing the same and you'll both be screwed!

Some bits like when you go to undertake a motorbike indicating left, sure he didn't need to move over that far but doing things like that you've got to expect some occasional conflict :p

+1 to this

Good to see you out riding again , did you go off for work abroad for a while ?

We'll have to meet somewhere soon and I can lead you out on some of your segments down your way (if I dont hold you back with your average sky-rocketing lately). I get down yours every couple of weeks or so to get some new scenery.
