I think you answered that question with the first line of your message - FSA stuff is a massive massive pain in the arse :/

One of the biggest problems has been caused by the stupid naming. Searching for 'megaevo' Google tends to autocorrect to 'megaexo' which is a different system, requiring different tools, and is compatible with different cranksets! You also get people online saying x is compatible with megaevo because they are confusing it with megaexo!

Went out with the club today at a social pace. Couldn't face going flat out with the fast group as I'd pulled an arse muscle on Friday! Hahaha!

Felt good at the end and will probs head out tomorrow too.

Need to build up fitness over the next month as have a week booked in Corsica cycling first week of September with two mates from work. Need to get some long rides in and will probs go out tomorrow.

Handed my notice in at work so should have some leave to burn between now and my leaving date so looking forwards to using them for training!

I just assumed you had the proper tool but aye the Megaevo has a bigger cup to accommodate the bigger spindle.

They have two different megaexo BBs one for pinch bolt models and one for single bolt cranksets. Bloody nightmare.

Shimano also now have two different external cup sizes just to confuse matters. The new BB should come with a plastic reducer to fit the older tool though.

How's the weather down sherwood pines way?

I'm heading with guys from work tomorrow for an overnight and testing of the 2016 Felt range. Fancy getting a shot of road and mountain stuff.

Had a nice ride this morning to work only to be presented with glued locks! A D-lock kryptonite new york and a chain lock ffs. Usually leaves the lock because of the weights, thank god no bike was locked while glued. Going to try acetone on break. ****ed me right off. Parked in the warehouse at work and considering keeping it there in the future.

somebody glued your lock ?
was it parked inside or outside?

I've just been to Pizza Hut as part of my 6 year old's birthday celebrations... Going to let my stomach settle and then head out and try to do a 41 mile route I've got that takes in most of the towns in Bolton borough. Some bits of it look nicer than others, needless to say! I've got a route around Wigan borough planned along similar lines, which I know does have some decent scenery. You have to head into Blackburn to get to the really decent hills, though. They must also have more money in Blackburn because as soon as you pass the county sign the road quality changes massively!

You going to be able to ride to work at your next job?

Yup! The new office is just at the other side of the car park! :)

Won't be able to keep my bike by my desk as I can now though so will be using the Giant and locking it up outside from now on.

Feeling alright now and might actually go out on the club ride tomorrow if I can wake up in time, if not a quick wander on my own.

Sucked it up with the ****e weather and got out for the saturday bunch anyway:

Only 8 of us, so lots of work pulling through and off. Was quite organised for once though rather than just a free for all and had a really good echelon going in the cross wind heading back in - first time i've ever really experienced that working effectively before.

Weather was indeed crap though. Soaked at the start, then 40mph winds but dry for a couple of hours, then drenched on the way home again.

Now to order large amounts of pizza.

Best cold weather rain jacket?

Long sleeve Gabba 2? Better than rapha pro team race Cape?

I have a cheap Castelli Gilet which is 100% waterproof but not breathable. Works ok as you vent out under your arms where there are no sleeves, but need something better or buy an indoor trainer!
