Really? With no punctures and no loss of grip, why replace? Maybe I just need to corner harder to wear them more evenly?![]()
Higher chance of blowout. And whether or not you believe you lost grip, there was a loss. Otherwise, why would they bother having the rubber outer coating at all?

Technically it's possible to run tyres way beyond their life...and often you can get away with it. It doesn't mean to say that you should though.
