Yeah..get a pic up of it stood against a wall and I'm sure someone can draw a line on it to show you what I mean ![Smile :) :)](/styles/default/xenforo/vbSmilies/Normal/smile.gif)

You're right, I misread, sorry! This is entirely wrong. The rear non-drive side is slackest. Rear *drive side* is tightest
Supreme ride, how was the route/cycle paths/trails?Yeah yeah I know it's not the road, but think I need a rest.

Just use a spirit level?Yeah..get a pic up of it stood against a wall and I'm sure someone can draw a line on it to show you what I mean![]()
To be honest the RNDS 'sounding slack' can be a bit misleading, the RDS should obviously be much tighter with the RNDS only really providing tension to keep the wheel true. If it hasn't got much then it's not hard to imagine the power transfer from the tight RDS spokes causing the flex (dishing?) you're seeing.![]()
Just use a spirit level?
Good grief, I'm sore. I'm not convinced that Cosine saddle is for me... It's got quite a wide nose so I've got some major chafage on the inside of my thighs, and it's not very forgiving going over any bumps, so my arse is well sore. Might have to go back to the Madison flux, or try one of the new fabric ones.
Generally I find with long rides as I start to fatigue and get tired my focus goes a bit so not only do I avoid less bumps in the road but also my ability to stay light in the saddle over them deteriorates. So I hit more bumps and also take more 'direct hits' too
Ta, Roady. Not seeing dishing but just flex under load, unless that's what you meant.
Lol, usually quicker to operate too!Internet forum spirit level is generally a bit more critical![]()
I used dishing merely as a way to try and describe the direction of the flexTa, Roady. Not seeing dishing but just flex under load, unless that's what you meant.
I always find a salad 'fleshed out' with extra pasta/couscous to be better for me when riding more. Although I've become quite slack about extra 'fuel' recently - with the loss of time due to moving & DIY I've been really lax about extra calories even when trying to maintain 100+ miles a week. Need to sort it out as noticed (again) my work belt needs some tighter holes, weighed myself last night (first time in ~2 months) and I'm down to 73.8kg!Though while not eating much, I woke up this morning tired. I'm sure my salad lunch will help. :/
Stannard is a beast. It's a privilege to even ride on the same roads as him.
Sure, send it over! Maybe that way you'll get faster! You can have some of my Kgs Roady, no problem!
Doh, Roady beat me to it, I posted the same thing in the pro cycling thread![]()
So jealous! This is BIG scenery territory.
Looks like real power data in Stannard's ride. He's impressively aero for a big guy if so, comparing some of the segments we have both ridden.
