Road Cycling

#billycba ;) I spend most of my free time around cars now days rather than bikes..
Poor excuse!
jesus. Some of u lot have cycled more then i have drive, taken trains and cycling combined!
Mad isn't it! Although when commuting it's quite scary how the mileage racks up! Did 1650 in 2014, 3300 in 2015 and on course for 4500 this year. I didn't really get into leisure riding until late 2014.

Think my car did just less than 5000 miles this year so fingers crossed next year I'll beat it! :D

Currently on just over 7550 miles. I'll probably add in the Rapha Festive 500 if weather isn't too shabby.

532 miles of MTB and just 29 miles commuting (only bothered once...).

Driven only about 2500 miles this year and a significant proportion was probably to go mountain biking!

I've done double the amount of miles cycling than I've driven in my car.

This fact becomes far less impressive when you find out that my car barely gets driven and my company car has covered about ten times the amount of miles I've cycled :p

One of my big goals for this year was more MTB miles and that didn't really happen which was kind of annoying.

Absolute number one goal for 2017 is to go through the whole year without buying another bike :o Bought one in 2015, two in 2016... if I continue that pattern I need to budget for a divorce as well :p

WHERE DO YOU STORE ALL YOUR BIKES LOL

Cue xdcx producing kittens.

Tom frikkin Boonen. Mr Classics hardman himself not just liking discs, but calling the Venge ViAS Disc 'best bike I ever had'.

Really hope we see them used more next season! Imagine the furor if a disc equipped bike wins a road classic for the first time! ;):D

He works for the team that asks their riders to pose in pillow fighting position. Marketing yo!

They have to get some marketing worth out of him in his last seasons and sell some of these disc bikes. More will jump on the fake-hype to get you all to buy them as time goes by this season.

Sportives of coming years will be dawned by dudes on aero Cervelo's with Di2 and disc brakes. Can't wait :p

p.s. if Tom Boonen wins a classic on a disc equipped bike next year I will purchase something from Rapha.

I've got three bikes in a metal bike box. Gonna build another one this year, but won't have room to store it, so I'm gonna take one of my older ones to my parents house (40 miles away - could be a good ride!) so I have one there for when I'm visiting.

Trying to work on some cycling goals for 2017. 2016 fell flat on it's arse about halfwau through because I'm a lazy ****.

Tempted to try and go for Liege-Bastogne-Liege again, as I was ill this year when I was meant to go.

Oh yeh.....no wussy rides can be included in yearly totals (by that I mean indoor rides of course! ;))

Can any PLEASE recommend a Garmin mount that doesn't let the unit rattle like **** in the mount?!

I have SRAM ones on both bikes, and both are crap for the above reason. The best one I had was the official Garmin one, which was on my stolen bike. Would get those again but I bet they're mega bucks being a Garmin product.
