If anyone else was trying to catch-up tv on Guy Martin
The North Lincolnshire motorcycle racer set out on his most brutal challenge yet for the programme - to cycle 4,800 miles around the entire coast of Britain in only 20 days had not realised C4 must have canned it - since it was not PC with their xmas message ? that wasn't it for xmas tv.

C4 canned it because Guy Martin was injured and cut off the ride to recover after 4 days worth of riding so there wasn't a programme to show.

Need to get my data screens set up but frigging hell what a faff it is without touchscreen! :p
Haha, know that pain from the amount of times I reset my 810!

Having recently setup the ELEMNT I have to say I think I prefer the customisation of the Garmin (any data field, anywhere), yet the setup of the Wahoo (ease & speed). I'm thinking the customisation will come once I have a good play with it.

First step of that is figuring out where a Power data field came from when I paired it to my S&C on the turbo. I think it's picked up the turbo, but it doesn't show it under sensors. Think mine does now have 2 S&C sensors, 2 HRM's and 1 Cadence sensor... When all it should have is 2 S&C and 1 HRM!
So the ride in this morning was rather cold.

Average of -8. Only had 2 layers on the top. Jacket is the nuts! Beard froze mind as did my water bottle.
Toasty! Calorie burn looks quite high, but I guess MTB @24kmph is hard work! ;)
Found out from a friend that his Canyon Speedmax CF, ordered in September, has been delayed again and now won't ship until May 2017.

How ridiculous is that!?
Canyon? Delayed? Non-Wow. Canyon always gonna Canyon. Then again last time they blamed a software change combined with opening a second warehouse, what now?
So the answer is you would rather have nothing. It's not like there isn't a huge range of bikes from other makes.

Halfords do sell high end bikes btw.
Have to admit I agree, although you do get a great bike for the money from Canyon, if that involved a 10 month wait I'd be spending the difference and getting something more immediate.

And Halfords should stick to Boardman for their high range, although Boardman have had a bad rap previously their current ranges are very well regarded, setup and priced.
Fantastic news and just what the brand and team needs, Factor never seemed to do much - never seemed to hear anything about them apart from seeing the name

At least Condor do some advertising and sponsor/help some of the home grown talent with their team (eg Ed Clancy riding on the road & 'Tour de Celeb'). Still don't hear/see much of their bikes/frames though! :o

Makes me even more gutted about NFTO, was only a season or two back when they were equal pegging with JLT & Onepro, possibly even out performing them... Now it looks like the NFTO pro team is over, while the others are progressing upwards! :(

All you guys complaining how cold and wet it is too cycle now in the UK should come round Stockholm where it is currently minus 11c snowing and ice roads and people here still cycle. Are we in the UK a bunch of other wuss?

I for one am a proud other wuss, whatever that is :p

I don't think there can be any debate over the care and attention shown by most Bikehut staff. The way the set my Boardman bike up perfectly then scrapped the frame and lost various bits off it (bar ends etc.) before handing it over to me stopped me from looking like the new boy at the local trail centre.

You just don't get that level of service with a cosmetically perfect bike sent half way across the UK to your doorstep.

You can put any data field anywhere...

Drag/slide the fields up and down within each screen within the app. Or hit the slider to turn a screen on/off in its entirety. Tap a field to change it. Slide left to remove. It's not rocket science :p

I've not ridden yet this year, as the weather has been bum. Going to get out for maybe 30 miles tomorrow, try and get in some hills. I'm a bit wary of the roads being covered in crud, though, so won't be taking in any potentially sketchy descents.
