too bad that mouse looked good. definetly a brand that has been added to the **** list.

my G9 wheel is awesome

, it even has two settings

Oh dear, I got this mouse about 2 weeks ago! Fortunately no problems with the wheel yet, but by the sound of things it will go eventually. I use the wheel loads for bhopping in CSS, so I guess it's just a matter of time. Apart from this, I can't fault the Kone at all, especially when it's paired with a Roccat Sense mat, the tracking is perfect and it's ten times more comfortable than my old Lachesis. ^^

Think it is time to invest in a different mouse.
This is your 3rd Kone?...lol
You must be really hard on your mouse wheel for it to break so many times

its modelling I think, using 3dmax/maya constantly uses a lot of the middle click :/

I love the kone though

haha lucky my old one legged copperhead is limping along with its random deciding to click or not whenever it feels like it. At least it middle clicks

Sent mine off today and asked them to let me know when they receive it. I'm having to rely on a cheap wireless mouse... boy am I noticing the difference.

Totally gutted tbh.

Just bought mine on Saturday, finally finished by new build and legged it onto my clans daily 9pm L4D session, about halfway through finale on the last map the movement started stuttering, almost as though it didn't like the surface or something was in the laser, it got progessivly worse until it didn't move at all... Doesn't do anything whatsoever now, in my Mac or my other pc..

Really gutted, as it feels fantastic and the movement was really nice.. Will definitley send it back and give it another go, if it breaks again.. ten

I guess..

AAAAAAAARRRRGGHHH...........

Just got my RMAd one back from OCUK on Friday, after the first one stopped tracking after one game of L4D. The replacement was working fine until 5 minutes ago, when the mouse wheel seems to have stopped working... Seems to be the same problem everyone else is having... Not going to bother with a replacment and go for a refund, it seems so many people are having troubles with them - the product is obviously not fit for sale!

Trouble is, I've paid like £50 for a mouse + £6.50 RMA back, and now i'll need to do it again, having lost all faith in the product - i'll always be worried it'll break.. I'll switch to a Razer or Logitech instead I think :[

Just boxed mine up ready to go back to OCUK for the 2nd time :mad:

thankfully they seem very good with RMAs at the moment, which minimises the annoyance!

The most annoying thing is that its such a damn good mouse, i've been buying decent mice ever since Quake1 came out and this is by far the nicest, most comfortable and best gaming mouse i've ever bought. Its so damn frustrating that it keeps breaking..

Just been reading reviews on the Lachesis and a few others, doesn't sound like any of them are a patch on the Kone... Wondering whether I should give the Kone 1 last final 3rd chance... On the flipside my last 2 have lasted 1 hour and around 8 hours of usage, so i'm thinking it'd just be a waste of time.
