Rocket lake leaks

Yeah don't worry, we plan to bench PowerPoint and Chrome benches right after synthetics.

lol......

Don't forget Windows Media Player. no really that is still a thing, according to Intel.

Actually i still use it for my on drive MP3 music files, its better than that other thing. plays songs in 0.0023698 Seconds after its launched. I'm sure Rocket Lake will be faster

Don't think I have ever used WMP in my life tbh. I went from Tape deck to CD's to iTunes (the iPod classics were great back then) to Spotify basically.

Never mind the 'newer stuff', how does it work with RealPlayer which is also still a thing?
Probably the worst software I ever used.

Whilst I don't use WMP for general usage, I tend to leave it as the default player for MP3 for the rare times when I want to double click a file.
It opens really quickly and it doesn't mess with my other music players so it's good for the odd ad hoc track.
Generally though, it makes iTunes for Windows look like a gold standard.

Like @Curlyriff i use Spotify but i have a lot of old MP3's on my Mechanical drive that i still listen to, WMP as you said just works, it fires up in a second and plays the song, that's it, its all i want it to do, i don't want it to think about playing my song and then give me recommendations it thinks i might like, #### off just play the file i clicked on and be done with it.... that's all i asked you to do.

Don't even do that, set Spotify to play local files and jobs done. Then with recommendations etc you can turn on/off if so wish. Otherwise yeah.

Rocket lake will be up for ordering several weeks before reviews are allowed to be posted

Intel is up to its old tricks again, wait for this reviews guys! There is a reason they are hiding them from you

How does that even work? Buy CPU, do review.

If NDA expires waaaay after product release, value of signing NDA = 0.

I'm sure the ad revenue dwarfs the cost of having to buy your own CPU instead of being given one.

e: Unless you mean "pre-ordering". Which is always a mug's game.

Ah yep, looks like it's pre ordering that starts early - but like normally pre orders start on the day reviews come out or sometimes a day or two after reviews or the day before, but Intel wants pre orders running for 2 weeks before review NDA expires.

Any way, you can pre order a rocket lake on 16 march but reviews are out on the last day of the month and stock in April sometimes

Try MusicBee (once set up the way you like save XML config and never have to do again, WMP is pants.
