New bios installed, seems ok, however I am still on a 2700X.

I have not had a fan issue with any of the bioses and I have used nearly every one. Though my fans are plugged into the CPU header with a PWM hub, 8 fans total.

Lol! Yes, that calculator has always been a bit hit and miss and is a miss here unfortunately.

Not sure what version you used but its generally good if you use it properly. IE import your settings from Thaiphoon Burner first etc.

Can you not get 3200C14 on 4 sticks?

New AGESA 1003AB BIOS released today: from ASUS ROG Forums

I did a BIOS Flashback, seems to be like there are new options for PBO and some other stuff. I certainly do hope the fan issue is resolved, more and more people are complaining about it.

Interesting thing I've noted: in Cinebench R20 I get 4721 after I close Origin, Steam, GOG Galaxy, Battle.net Launcher. In the default state with these open, I score around 4300.
Thanks for that I'll give that a go.

Managed to get somewhere with the RAM. But need geardown enabled, unfortuantely.

Currently at 3600MHz 1:1 FCLK
16,16,16,36,54,1T
2nd's all lightly tuned
Geardown mode enabled :(

Probably will fall back to 3466MHz and tighter timings.

Your Proc ODT will probably be in the 40's. DR stuff seems higher. Is just me or does lower ohm Proc ODT seem to mean lower latency? With same setting but changing Proc ODT 68 -> 53 ohm went from 70ns -> 65ns??? Need to play more. I don't know how low dual rank stuff can go.

Also my 3600C14 although does not fail memtest, did 3000% hci. But still get random crashes when gaming or just sat in windows. Not often, but to much for my liking. 1usmus has also mentioned this trait for high speed c14. So have got to 3666 C16 now, chasing 3733 now, but i dont think my sticks will do it.

Anyone here with this board and a 3700/3700X running 3200 memory? Any tips/how you getting on?

I have the 16GB Trident RGB 3200 C14 and OC'd yet, sounds like 3600 with as tight as timings as I can get is the sweet spot.

7201 with AGESA 1.0.0.2 = Good boost but C5 errors now and then on cold boot
7302 with AGESA 1.0.0.3AB = Crap boost and restarts are actually cold boots
7304 with AGESA 1.0.0.3AB = Crap boost and miserable memory overclocking experience
7401 with AGESA 1.0.0.3ABB = TBC :p

Fun times.
