Rome 2 : Total War

Greenman is digital DL only. Don't know when they send the codes in relation to release day. Would be nice if it was the day before so you could pre-load it on Steam.

No you can pre-order the DVD version for £26.99 with them, the digital version is £33.75 with their 25% off code.

Rome 2 now £29.99 on steam.

Do the folk who have paid £44 get their money back considering this is only a pre order?

And will the Steam price £29.99 stay there until launch, or is this just temporary for a few weeks?

Bah, it's still €55 in the eurozone. Don't suppose that nice chap who used to buy games in UK£ on behalf of us foreign types is still about?

Edit: I remembered, it was Gimpymoo.

Yes was just about to post regarding the steam price drop.
But still £30...I am sure it will come down relatively quickly in price.
To think some of the total war games come down to single digit pounds a year or so after release?

£30 is a fair price for a game I will no doubt spend 300+ hours on.

Has anyone heard anything about the co-op in Rome 2?

loved co-op in shogun 2.

Nifty little trailer!
Not much info given away though - except maybe re-enforcing their focus on characters and/or story.
I like the zoom down to the city, I wonder if there'll be something similar on the campaign map?

Campaign Map is looking fantastic. Looks more like the ones from Rome & Medieval, with a little bit more polish, which is what I was hoping for.

I want them to revert back to the Rome & Medieval 2 type game, Shogun and it's accomplishes just have not hooked me. Only stopped playing M2 about 6 months back.

On Rock Paper Shotgun, the chap mentions after the video that he sort of wants the same, which is great as it shows I am not alone. Also the old style of building & recruitment with the whole page that comes up, rather than what we have now would be appreciated.
