Rome 2 : Total War

7/10 isn't a bad score, if 5/10 is 'okay', 7 would be great, no? 8 would be amazing, 9 is nearly perfect and 10 is perfect.

Okay fair enough, review scores are skewed completely these days due to publishers paying for high scores, which in turn makes games that score below an 8 seem bad, but it all comes down to the individual reviewer. Some guys still hold true to what the score system is supposed to be, and if so, a 7 is a good score.

I've never judged a game based on the review scores. Considering the likes of COD get 10/10 most places it just shows their system is ********.

oh no I've caved in and purchased this, its pre loaded and ready for release and I'm hoping I can get to grips with it. I loved rome total war but haven't played a total war game for years. Rome total war was fantastic and its for this reason I've caved and purchased this..

missus will kill me for this if its like rtw the first one. I'll spend hours on it oops..

Anyone else a little disappointed with that release trailer? The other trailers before it were much better, this one seemed to lack any real scripting other than a bunch of people being dead and a random wolf... weakest trailer so far imo.

However I am SO EXCITED!!! :D

so this game is confirmed to run like poop.

so much for optimization on day one.

that siege of Carthage video scale was impressive but seems final game wont be able to live up to it. :(

The engine is heavily CPU dependent, a modern i7 is needed to get the most out of it.
