Rome 2 : Total War

Yeah those auto-resolve battles are the best auto-resolve battles I have ever had in a TW game.

At least that part of the game works. :D

I'm trying to remember when Empire came out were the initial patches compatible with people's saved campaigns or did we have to keep restarting?

LMAO! Love those :P

Still, you can't judge whether to return the game based on one close-up screenshot of minimum settings and one glitch.
Glitches get fixed and often examples like that hardly happen. And are hilarious when they do :P

lol it's worse than I expected. Seems like such a let down. :( I know with mods it will improve, but why oy why can't the devs listen in the first place. Rome Total Realism was absolutely epic, as was the mod for Medieval 2. They were just amazing. But surely the games should offer this kind of thing at release... Very disappointed, but not at all surprised.

They knew what they were doing, they have dumbed the battles down to appease the ADHD people, as ever because there's more stupid, illogical, impatient and easily pleased people and therefore more money to be had, they get catered too.

That's why libraries are closing despite the population being half-illiterate and facebook and twitter are so popular.

The triumph of the moron is almost complete.

For new TW player like myself, would it be best for me to play through Medieval TW 2 until this is patched better? or is Shogun 2 TW really good now?

Play Medieval 2, if you can get Kingdoms expansion (about £6) and the Stainless Steel mod from

I think it's better than Shogun 2, but neither is a bad bet until this is fixed, or more likely modded into a proper game.
