Tevez is just a mercenary. His game is very high tempo and fast, he runs about and pressures people a lot, or as you put it, he's passionate because he runs a lot?

Tevez is a good player, but he's a mercenary. He will play for whom ever pays him the most. I'm not sure how I'm having double standards.
 
Yeah he's done us a favour and this will be the thing that causes fervid to get investment. I don't know if it's naive, rooted in a deep rooted inferiority complex or just a little slow but there seems to be a little desperation there.

now if u score 23 goals and then 7 in 8, i guarantee you that he doesnt run around aimlessly or in a panic.

no he's passionate because he tries, always, he always runs himself dry. he cares he is willing to voice his opnion to the manager in order to win. misguided or not. he is not a shrinking violet.

he also wants to be somewhere that appreciates him. clearly man utd did not. we didnt want him, nor did we act as though we wanted him. So we let him leave and he went to City...

How is that being a mercenary?
 
Trying doesn't equal passion, trying equals repaying a bit of the £120k a week you're being paid.

Tevez could leave Man City tomorrow and never give them a second thought. He doesn't give a crap about them

i think that statistically he didnt have world cup and anecdotally he had a shocker vs arsenal. if you can prove otherwise, please do.

Maybe UEFA should take over from the Inland Revenue then. It will be impossible for UEFA to get an honest set of accounts from clubs when government departments with far more power than UEFA can't even get access to the real figures. Portsmouth for instance had been trading for years with no one having a clue what was going on. The big clubs will present accounts that will fit in with UEFA guidelines and still continue to spend big.
 
Few reports are saying Rooney favours a move to Madrid but wants £1 million more in wages than Ronaldo and more than the 50/50 split in image rights that every other player gets. Who said he wasn't motivated by money? :o

I didn't use Evra as a pillar of trust. Was just happy to see what the other players thought of Rooney.
 
fergie was at training at 10 wasnt he? they said its more likley to be around 1-2pm because they could get the glazers involved since they will be up by then.

To be fair he should get a 50/50 split in image rights. I doubt there is much money in paper bags, balaclavas and Halloween masks.
