Rooney - 2 B Sold

Its all over Twitter at the moment that Rooney has a 25% Sell on clause as well :o
Everton stand to make a mint from him.

I don't think Man Utd will get more than £25m-£30m for him unless City go absolutely mental. Thinking about it, it's actually more than likely they will.

Although, this could all turn out perfectly. Fergie is crushed by rooneys actions and retires at the end of the season. Mourinho leave real at the end of the season to manage united and brings with him a veritable entourage of superstars.

Final cut scene is rooney in a similar situation to those adverts about decide your destiny.

Oh, and something bad happens to the american owners. Something bad....

Who do you support, please not United?

Mourinho probably wanted to go to Man U when Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez were there, if Rooney goes there isn't much to attract him there :p Especially if he hasn't any money to spend :D

EA Sports aren't going to be happy, their game box (FIFA 11) is going to go out of date pretty damn fast if he moves in January! :p

Extremely suprised it came to this, Fergie looked lost in that press conference.

I thought Rooney was someone who would have been around for years aslong as United didn't do a liverpool and not qualify for the CL.

In all this, It just shows you why he's been in such poor form, He's wanted out since the summer. eeek!

Never thought United would see this day after the CL final in Moscow.
Going from team which had Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez to potentially one without any of these names is shocking to say the least.

Where does he go now?
I can seriously see him moving to Real Madrid, Move away from the UK.
Start a new life out there, Less intrusion into his private life. A Manager who speaks the language he speaks. Ronaldo who he was extremely good with.

Wonder how the home fans will treat him at Old Trafford, Arsenal fans still love Fabregas though this is a different situation I suppose, Rooney wants to leave Man Utd whereas Fabregas wants to join Barcelona (semantics, but you get me)

I am indeed a united supporter. I also may well be in an emotionally fragile state at the moment and trying to rationalise how this will be a good thing for the club.

It's like the Ronaldo situation - Ronaldo had always made it clear Real Madrid was his dream.

Rooney however, has acted like a child, and has thrown everything SAF, the fans & the club have done.

Much as he did with Everton.

In the words of Jonas Blane, "I can't see this turning subtle". I'm going for a firm thumbs down.

Got to wonder what the hell City are going to do about the UEFA rules if they keep adding monumental wages to their already huge wage bill (already the wages are higher than their entire turnover).

LOL - I knew that would be the obvious answer.... still I don't see it.

Tevez wouldn't be happy and right now Tevez is on fire.

As a spurs fan I thought we would be fighting it out with City for the 4th spot. Now its looking more likely its going to be United. If they loose Rooney in January I can see them struggling to get 4th let alone challenge Chelsea for the league.
