RRS takes out Bikers in NYC!

It's all over the media national news in the US. I don't specifically have a link, but this is the flavor of the week, news wise. When did it happen? Sunday? To be still making it on the morning news as a discussion, shows the media attention its getting.

Thats not what he asked for, we've seen all them and they don't support what you have said.

These guys are complete Morons. Above is another video of them, from a year or so ago, attacking a Prius.

No no, you have it all wrong, they're harmless fluffy teddy bars, and the other guy is just rich with anger issues and can pay his way out.

Anyone who thinks that the driver wasn't justified in his actions doesn't know what they're talking about IMO. The sequence of events are clearly:

- Driver and young family minding his own business driving along...
- 'accident' happens aka brake check
- driver stops and 20+ bikers start getting aggressive, smashing car up, slashing tyres
- driver quite rightly decides to GTFO of there (especially with family)
- bikers box him in AGAIN and get violent
- driver in fear of his life drives over biker to get his young family out of the way and escape
- driver exits freeway probably due to his tyres falling off and gets stuck in traffic
- bikers surround him AGAIN and smash in windows, pull him out of the vehicle and beat him up in front of his family.

What he did is completely justified and he will never face charges. He did nothing but try to avoid confrontation and the bikers started the whole thing and were violent thugs.

Biker Allan Edwards, who surrendered himself to the police for his part in the actual attack on the RR driver, has been sent on his way without any charges

Allen Edwards was cut loose hours after he turned himself in for the vicious beating of Alexian Lien by a pack of bikers after a wild chase through upper Manhattan on Sunday. On Wednesday, the motorcyclists held a vigil for fellow rider Edwin Mieses, who was gravely injured.

Dudes wife should have been calling 911 imo as soon as the initial incident took place.

I doubt there is a duty to do that.

Secondly how do you know they didn't as police were quickly on the scene.

There are so many people in the US expressing bemusement at people trying to blame the driver. They feel the law would have allowed them in their state to defend themselves by whatever means necessary (including firearms). I don't doubt that of the people claiming they would have done exactly that, some would have.

Miss reprenstation, hes released becuase he had nothing to do with it.

A law enforcement official says, instead, he might have been trying to help Lien.

He never assaulted this man. He never tried to assault him in any way, and he does not know any of the other motorcyclists who were involved in this beating," said attorney Benjamin Perez.

So try again mat82 that article doesn't support your view, only that this one person wasn't doing it.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stand-your-ground_law

Forty-six states in the United States have adopted the castle doctrine, that a person has no duty to retreat whatsoever when their home is attacked.[1][2] Twenty-two states go a step further,[3] removing the duty of retreat from other locations outside the home. Such "stand your ground", "Line in the Sand" or "No Duty to Retreat" laws thus state that a person has no duty or other requirement to abandon a place in which he has a right to be, or to give up ground to an assailant. Under such laws, there is no duty to retreat from anywhere the defender may legally be.[4] Other restrictions may still exist; such as when in public, a person must be carrying firearms in a legal manner, whether concealed or openly.

Its not possible that he had nothing to do with it, he was the guy in the video punching the NSR window,

No its not.

Everything is done for a personal gain, so by going on the hoon, taking out your non road legal bike, riding like a berk, speeding, the rider has a personal gain, they have fun.

What personal gain was there from victimising the RR? They didnt steal anything. The only thing i can see they gained is a lot of attention from the police (or medical staff in some cases) or retribution for something the RR did before the start of the video

What personal gain do people have from committing other acts of random violence? Gang members shooting each other for instance, or nutters going into schools and shooting anything that moves?

I would have done the same as the driver but gone to the police station after running them over. Scummy bikers all over the lanes and far too close to the Range Rover. They intimated the driver. Who'd want to deal with a hundred thuggish bikers.

Matt82 have you ever admitted you are wrong about anything?

Of course not, pounding on a window, is trying to smash it and that article goes against every other media report, what the police say and what they might of charged him with.
He was not part of the assault like he seems to think.
More like an erroneous article, more than anything else.

How can he got to the police, when he's lying on the floor beaten, waiting for the ambulance.

Anyone else seen the Facebook page, there's even a collection for his family now, given the woman that created the donations page looks white white do we want to put money on it not being legit...

Anyone want to start one for the guy in the RRS, I'll split the money with you lol...

If you watch the video, whenever someone has tried to open the door on the RR, be that the second or third time it stopped, theres never more than about 4 people around the car. Definitely not hundreds.
