RRS takes out Bikers in NYC!

wow, americans are getting ridiculous. it's almost like a comic strip of weirdo's pompus over rich type in his RRS, mob of angry bikers wearing t-shirts and gimp like leather with gang logos on 'em, god loving crazy jumping in the middle of it all and cops that stand around and eat donuts.

god bless america. :/

The guy jammed on his brakes no more than 1mtr in front of a Range Rover - he didn't stop in time to avoid him. No surprises there. It's on film so at worst the driver could only get done for fleeing the scene of a crime. Bikers chase guy down with a view to revenge. If they'd have blocked him in, called the police and waited then at least they may have done that part right.

Seen this story come up on other forums and am astounded at the amount of people in support of the bikers!

He didn't jam on his brakes, he rolled off the throttle. I personally do not believe that they started attacking the RRS at the 1st encounter either. I doubt the tyres were slashed, i believe Lien simply panicked, drove over and nearly killed that biker, injuring others, and blew his tire in the process. Yes they were a gang, yes they were out to cause a little mayhem by popping a few wheelies here and there.. However real violence didn't start until, the driver intentionally drove over the bikers, without any regard for their lives or welfare. I personally think that's more of a crime, than trying to intimidate by rolling off your throttle. But hey, these are bikers, and they chew the heads off babies. Hopefully proper video will come out of 1st encounter. Anything after that, is subject to opinion really. Could say he bought the beating on himself, by running people over.

Yes lets base the opinion of an entire nation of 300million upon one small incident, which was caused entirely by one man on a bike rolling off this throttle, and another crapping himself and hitting the gas.

There are videos being reviewed that were never put on the internet. One of them shows one of the undercover police officers actively attacking the people in the car.

ACAB.

An off-duty undercover cop who had claimed he took no active role as fellow bikers pulled a Manhattan dad from his SUV and beat him to a pulp was actually pounding the vehicle with his fists at the height of the bloody road-rage attack, sources told The Post.
The cop, a seven-year veteran, had told investigators he didn’t help the injured man because he rode up to the scene as the beating was nearly over, sources said.
But video footage clearly shows otherwise, disgusted sources said Monday

Says the guy trying to defend the actions of people who attempted to beat women and children passengers in a car that had been upset by a drivers 'over reaction' in your eyes. An 'over reaction' that has been found repeatedly by both the authorities, most of the general public and the media to be a completely normal and understandable reaction.

Whole thing is messed up - but ultimately the bikers brought it on themselves no ifs or buts even if the instigating event was accidental rather than an intentional brake check.

So when Prince Charles and Camila were surrounded by that tree hugging mob, should the driver have put his foot on the gas and run them over?

I'm sure if he did, there would have been outrage. However because it was bikers, then its all good. Except for one thing, the people you're running over, probably are not aware of really what's going no behind them.. The HUGE media attention this is receiving is Lien's saving grace at the moment... Still no real mention of exactly what happened at the 1st encounter.. Just hear say. The bikers took the law into their own hands after in their eyes a crime was commited against them.. So far that's really their only crime. So should Lien be allowed to take the law in his own hands? Not sure self defense allows you to mow down a bunch of people, just cos you're feeling threatened.

You need to open your eyes buddy.

No I'm keeping an open opinion here, unlike the majority of non-bikers, who just think that a biker popping a wheelie is a violent criminal and you should absolutely anything and everything to get out the way, and that includes mowing people down.

If the RRS was initially violently attacked then fair doo's. But no evidence to really support that.. Just that is was forced to slow down and stop. Even his wife, didn't say it was ATTACKED !!! Just that any other person would have done the same.. and proof is in the final beating, what kind of people these were. Big question mark there..Like would he have been chased down and pulled from his car had he not run them down? My guess is she was careful with her words.

HOWEVER !!!!! Everyone is jumping past that fact that no real violence happened at the first encounter and heading straight towards to final beating, and that's where all the bikers are being judged.

IIRC for american law there is no requirement for violence for you to defend yourself. The threat of violence/intimidation is more than sufficient. IE brake testing a RR and then surrounding the car with multiple people in an aggressive manner is sufficient cause to act to protect yourself.

You have to remember that in this situation, the RR driver would be able to draw a firearm for being threatened in the majority of states and if they didn't back down or tried to attack him, he would be justified in firing to kill. Can you honestly say hand-on-heart that the bikers riding was in no way intimidating and that being surrounded by bikers after being brake-tested would not cause you to feel threatened?

There is no need for them to attack the vehicle, the threat of violence is enough to defend yourself.

His actions were those of a scared person trying to protect his wife and child, some of the bikers actions were those of a violent mob. If you can't see that you're blind and to move to the final beating is just to uphold the fact they were scum. If they had retained him and called the police I would have more sympathy, they didn't and they will get owned by the legal system in the US.

Open minds are all very well and good, but their comes a time when sensible people get off the fence.

There's no point even discussing with him, I called him out a few posts up but he's chosen to ignore that post and all the evidence and police testimony that doesn't support his argument, despite it being reported from the same source he claimed to be reliable.

Literally making up stuff to try and support his opinion.

Your over reaching to the defence of bikers everywhere, and its pathetic. I don't know anyone, even the most uptight of fun police, who would think someone popping a wheelie was a violent criminal, unsafe and a moron maybe, but not offensively violent. Hollywood stuntaz attracted the worst kinds of people, including thuggish police officers who joined in on the attack in the mob frenzy, not all bikers are Hollywood stuntaz, I've hooned with some awesome bikers. You are just defending bikers for the sake of it as if an attack on one group is an attack on all, you are making bikers look worse doing this, try disowning them.

Don't keep an open mind to the point your brain falls out m8, an open mind that's that open is worthless (IM CALLIN UR BRAIN WORTHLESS HERE M8 THAT IS THE JOKE)
