FE.Sigh. Any idea which are likely to be the best ones available at the MSRP?
Need an owners thread, Kaapstad?
Even if you are thinking about buying a 4070 there is no need to rush and buy one today. Without the mining craze and covid even if they all sold out today they will come back into stock and become easier to buy in the weeks to come. Waiting will allow time for AMD to release their 7800 cards and enable a more informed decision. Also for those with a 3080 or 6800/xt/6900xt if FSR3 does work on those do you really need to upgrade this gen or can you skip this generation.

scalpers out in force loads on bay already
Lets assume they could scale up production of the 4080 - presumably that would accompany price drops, creating more pressure on the top product, the RTX 4090 (which has no competition from AMD).
Nvidia always has a flagship card that they intend to set the price as high as possible for. producing more 4080s would likely mean price drops for the 4090.
Maybe that will change when the 4090 TI releases.
I think you need to visit the nvidia store the 4080 FE has never gone out of stock and if you are finding the stores you shop at not have them in.. maybe they are seeing them as a risky purchase because as I said Nvidia can't even shift their 4080 fe.
that asus taxOver £700 for a TUF, ok.
FE bagged.
