Human being is very rude to another human being and becomes butthurt when offended human being retaliates.

Posts encounter on the Internet in vain attempt to gauge sympathy from unaffected human beings.

Again, becomes butthurt, when unaffected human beings re-confirm that butthurt human being was out of order and fully deserved what he got.

You were in the wrong on this one IMO.

There was absolutely no need for a sarcy comment. It'll be interesting to see how he handles your deliveries in the future :p

Well I think you're wrong. There's no excuse for someone being sarcastic to a customer when ultimately it's the customers paying their wages.

You started things off with him so I am not surprised that he had the response he did for you when you said that to him. You didn't need to say that to him at all. He obviously had a really long day made even worse by him needing to change a tyre. Your comment to him indicates that you believe he was just messing around instead of delivering your important package within the time frame you were expecting. DPD couriers have a certain delivery window that they have to adhere to, otherwise they're physically unable to deliver the parcel because their handheld scanner doesn't let them. We've had instances where the driver has been 5 minutes early for his delivery and he's had to stand around and wait until his scanner would allow him to scan the delivery in.

Stop being so high and mighty. I can't believe you complained to their HO as well. He had a flat tyre ffs! Hardly his fault. Unfortunately most customers adopt this attitude. You're lucky that today we even get a 1 hour delivery window. I remember when it was just "you'll get it when you get it" and people had to be happy with that!

He'd probably had a bad day, I never understand how people get involved in arguments with couriers, my family has done the same in the past and I just think it's stupid. You still got you're stuff in the end and he would have gotten it to you earlier if an issue hadn't of happened.

I do feel like you are just looking for an argument, maybe the driver should have handle it differently but you could have always spoke to him in a slightly better tone.

I agree with you 100%. Courier services over the past 5 years have improved so much, I remember when next day delivery wasn't heard off! Maybe OP needs to get in his car and go buy his things at an actual store if a courier isn't good enough! See if he likes changing a flatty.
