Why are you always so obsessed what people do or do not do with their money?
well it is a discussion forum
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

It's not even about what the 1060 can do in 2 years time it can't even max out all the games I wanna play now. What's it get on gta ultra mins of 30fps?
Also I will be using fastsync so need to be way above 60.
Also didn't spend £550 lol
Yes but you do the same with TV discussions amongst other things. Overkill this and overkill that.

apparently it smashed 60 fps on GTA @ ultra @ 1080p
You just linked me to a site that says very high settings minimum of 47???????
NOT ULTRA
alright, let me clear this up a little bit. The title is slightly misleading, yes I have a lot of settings maxed out, but I also turned some off because they took away a lot of performance and I don't think those settings are worth it.
I have roughly £450 at a push to buy a new card. Do I go with 1070 or the 1070 ti? A 1070 would save me cash for other things like a new case that I want also.
Or would it better to wait for the reviews first?
I didn't say financial - but even then, you'd have to re sell your card every time at a significant loss, just to upgrade to a better card for more.it doesn't make financial sense no. as i pointed out above
Maxed settings in GTA V is silly.
Who the hell needs MSAA in reflections from puddles and mirrors?
I never max settings in any game even if i can as some settings make things look worse and some are pretty pointless.
yeah I haven't played gta5 yet been waiting until I had something fast enough. I should be good for 4xmsaa with my 1080 when it gets here and my 8400 when they come back in stock.
Looking forward to seeing how good games can look this 280x is bit dated now.
Vega 64 or 1080 are barely any more.I have roughly £450 at a push to buy a new card. Do I go with 1070 or the 1070 ti? A 1070 would save me cash for other things like a new case that I want also.
