I think its aimed at showing RTG how release a new SKU and have the AIB partners on board to release custom cooled cards on launch
Not everyone can afford a 1080. I do however think that are a higher end 1070 (£400ish) is the better option to buying a low end 1070 ti. Does this sound good?
In the last few weeks I have seen at least 5 deals for GTX1080 cards at £430~£450. You just need to shop around and be quick when the said deals appear. Its why you have seen Vega64 deals starting to appear at under £500 too, since it makes it look even worse at its RRP of over £500.
Deals on the members market on here or other sites for brand new cards?
Just shop around,is all I can say and they are new cards, and there have been even more deals at £450 to £480. The fact of the matter,is once the GTX1070TI rollout is complete, expect the GTX1080 to probably go back up in price.
Remember, you get a free copy of Shadow of War too:

Thanks. I'll take a look

Especially since Shadow of War got some mixed reviews. I'd pick Destiny 2 any day. That sounds even better,LOL!

Dont laugh at my first first world problems!! they are very serious ):I was thinking the same. This thread has been around since 13 September
Sadly I don't think they will. There's still a huge gap between the £200-250 GTX 1060 and the £350-400 GTX 1070. The actual ranges are huge though, I can't see how there can be 6 GB GTX 1060s at £230 and others at £330, that's just crazy. I also despair at the price of the RX 580 - is there really still a shortage due to mining? It's been half a year now!If the 1070 drops in price when the 1070ti cards begin to sell its gonna hurt.
