*Rumour* 1070 Ti (Videocardz.com)

Twice the performance of the 970 according to Nvidia. I have two PCs with 970s. The kind of logic that empties my wallet is telling me to buy a 1070ti and go SLI with the 970s to retain theoretical performance parity...

Nvidia - "We designed the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti to be an overclocking monster with plenty of headroom for gamers to crank up the clock speeds."

It would need to be very close to an overclocked 1080 for me to be interested. Pity we have to wait for reviews as I would like to buy something now.

By 'overclocking monster', I'm sure they just mean that it boosts to 2ghz, exactly like every other 1070/1080 with a decent cooler. But If I'm wrong and it easily goes above 2100mhz that could be something to see.

If they are "failed 1080" cores and have reasonable power limits in the VBIOS then they could very well hold 2100+MHz clocks.

My 1070 can get close to that but held back by the power limits.

£420 plus and you can get 1080 for that money, I was hoping this card would bring prices down seems more like it's there to push them up.

Seem pointless card at that price.
Agreed, you're looking at £60-100 more than the 1070 for a similar class card. I am not sure who these are aimed at.
