It feels like Nvidia are just taking the pee now, I’m not sure what they’ll try next.

At 419.99 it's a decent buy, any higher then no. Might bag the FE as I need the blower version.
I thought I'd read they weren't doing an FE version? Think the best you'll get is one of the AIB blowers.
Tell that to nvidia UK who have them listed for preorder.
Pricing looks ridiculous!
Did the rumours about the clock being fixed to stop overclocking turn out to be true?
Likely to get rid of failed 1080 cores instead of dumping them.I am still perplexed why they didn't drop the RRP of the GTX1080 instead of launching a whole new SKU?? Is it because GDDR5X is expensive still??

By 'overclocking monster', I'm sure they just mean that it boosts to 2ghz, exactly like every other 1070/1080 with a decent cooler. But If I'm wrong and it easily goes above 2100mhz that could be something to see.Nvidia - "We designed the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti to be an overclocking monster with plenty of headroom for gamers to crank up the clock speeds."
It would need to be very close to an overclocked 1080 for me to be interested. Pity we have to wait for reviews as I would like to buy something now.

I am not sure what to make of it TBH - will need to see reviews first.
It's bad value, unless they put the price of the GTX 1080 up, as you can pick up a Zotac GTX 1080 Mini or a KFA2 GTX 1080 Clown card for €500 (£445 delivered), if it was £399 or less then it presents a sensible choice.
and you even get Destiny 2 for free with it. Nvidia either need to include free stuff or drop the price. Or both.It can be had for under £450 sometimes!
Agreed, you're looking at £60-100 more than the 1070 for a similar class card. I am not sure who these are aimed at.£420 plus and you can get 1080 for that money, I was hoping this card would bring prices down seems more like it's there to push them up.
Seem pointless card at that price.
I think its aimed at showing RTG how release a new SKU and have the AIB partners on board to release custom cooled cards on launchAgreed, you're looking at £60-100 more than the 1070 for a similar class card. I am not sure who these are aimed at.
