95% of what ANYONE does is to further themselves, you are not excluded from that if you take a few minuets to think about how you run your life and how giving you are in that last 5%
He is politically motivated no doubt. Don't cast him off as a dim celebrity attention seeker, he has millions of followers and a specific aim.
And? This isn't the point.
The point is he's furthering himself. Not some epic new revolutionary God, who's going to bring change.

I don't see him in any movies, I don't see him raking it in.
He just recently released a book and all of income from that book went to charity.

He was pretty much ALREADY famous before this.
The dude had been in multiple films before this, i'm failing to see how he's riding the "Fame bandwagon" when he already had a ton of fame.

There are different level of famous.
He has far more media time now, and that is celebrities number one credit rating. More popular and high profile, the mire you can charge and make in a 1000 different ways.

part of it is that isn't it, i mean the UK is known for knocking people down who are successful no matter how they made it. In the US they celebrate success. What a twisted up culture eh ? Then again the man is potentially using the poor for his own gain

It has nothing to do with success. The issue is in the people blindly following him and agreeing with anything he says. Even if it goes against what he actually wants to achieve. Ao has very little to do with him. And more to do with people like you and many others in this thread.
Please tell me how people not voting will change anything in his direction?
When older people are statistically far more likely to vote and vote in the other direction. So if you follow that plan, not only don't you achieve the plan, you actually swing politics away from you.
Make some sort of sense. Nothing more nothing less. Don't care if he makes money out of it, all politicians do.
Other than brining his own brand, he has literally done nothing. No new subjects that haven't been debated to death for years. No plans on how to fox it. In fact his only plans would actually make his ideas less likely.
