Russell Brand.

He did much to initiate this by funding research which led to much of it, including today's canonical graphical user interface, and the ARPANET which is the direct predecessor of the Internet.

The Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANET) was the first wide-area packet-switched network with distributed control and one of the first computer networks to implement the TCP/IP protocol suite. Both technologies became the technical foundation of the Internet. The ARPANET was established by the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) of the United States Department of Defense.[1]

For their own use.

You only have to listen to Marc Andreessen and his tales during the Netscape era to hear how the US government were trying to shut it down and control it. Pretty fascinating actually.

She didn't withdraw the charges, it wasn't her pressing charges. She withdrew her cooperation, which meant they had much less evidence and the case wild be hard to prove.
This seems to be one of those recurring misunderstandings about the U.K. legal system. In theory a case can be prosecuted without the victim’s consent, it’s just very difficult given they’re likely a key witness.

I’m sceptical of a lot of these guests who appear regularly on different podcasts but you’re way off on Marc Andreessen.
I know who Marc Andreessen is, I was referring to the channel.

"DescriptionWelcome to the Bankless YouTube channel, where we explore the frontier of crypto money and crypto finance. This is how to get started, how to get better, and how to front-run the opportunity."

Your response to the video was “Ah yes what a well balanced view of reality. Some crypto bros.”

That hardly seems like you were just referring to the channel when Trusty was specifically referring to what Marc had to say in that video.

Next time it might be a good idea to listen to it instead of instantly smashing the laughing emoji and responding with nonsense.
