If a rape has occurred then it should be reported to the police.

Neither is ok from my point of view, but if an accusation of grooming is made then the police should carry out an investigation.

Can you give me any more to believe your assertion that he was grooming?

EDIT: I don't take it personally. I'm just strongly in faviour of waiting for actual evidence (not 'evidence') before condemning someone. He may be guilty of your assertions. He may not be. If I allege you did the same to me then should everyone believe it?

If he did go out with a 16 year old whilst in his 30s then it's more likely than not there was some form of grooming. But that's not for definite of course, wouldn't be the first time a young star stuck girl offered it up to an older celeb who took advantage.

Happy to be corrected but I think you were asserting that Huw Edwards was a groomer. Was that the case? Or were you asserting that Brand was a groomer? Let's clear that up first. I also want to be clear that you made some accusations and I simply asked you to clarify. I'm not sure why you are now asking me about Brand when I was simply asking you to provide the evidence you seemed to have on Huw.

A 30 year old "going out" with a 16 year old is creepy and, as a father of a teenage girl, I would step in and stop that situation really fast. But it doesn't automatically make it illegal or a case of grooming.

Suggest an age (for both the younger and older person) and I will give you my opinion.

Edit: I assume you mean 30 and 21/25... ok so how did they meet because that is quite important to the circumstances. 25 is fine. 21 will depend on what circumstances you describe.
