Out of interest, if I was to pick up a spare PSU just to test the boot-up of the new system to save me keep swapping out my main PSU/GPU, what would be the minimum?

The stock cooler is louder than I expected but I appear to be up and running!

That "ABBA Thingy" is your BIOS, that's up to you if you want that or not.
I've previously updated my BIOS so I should be okay.

Ryzen Master seems to get a mixed response though I've already got that installed anyway.

Though make sure you are using ABBA as there are significant improvements over previous ones.

No ABBA update is the best one for all Ryzen 3000 CPUs as it allows properly to boost.
Would that be in mobo bios update? I have the latest one for my board.

Urgh. My local has 5 in stock, but the gouging is real
I highly doubt we will see the launch price again though for a very long time even if the cpu was in stock everyware the uk pound needs to rebound quite a bit before we See a conversion rate closer to 1.1 . I know we have vat in our prices but a good rule of thumb at the moment for launch prices is 499.99 dollars = 499.99 pounds

It was always fine, even up to 1.5v is normal running at stock/default settings.
